“You’ve just hired Ridley Scott… and the A-Team!

Twentieth Century Fox has assembled a creative team to transform 1980s TV series “The A-Team” into a summer 2010 film.

Studio has set Joe Carnahan to direct and Ridley Scott to produce, with Tony Scott exec producing through their Scott Free banner.

Also producing are Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell, the latter of whom created the original TV series.

I can’t tell you how awesome it would be to see this happen, and if Ridley Scott’s on board, it’s a GO (with an explosion, gun-fire, a brand new hot-ass car getting demolished, punctuated by some bad-ass fight sequence)! I had to look up director Joe Carnahan, and the minute I saw Smokin Aces on his resume, I was trying to buy my tickets online. It’s target release date is Summer 2010, so the anticipation will be HUGE, and well worth it. Now, who should play the A-TEAM???

Lisa Loeb ties the knot!

lisaloebSinger Lisa Loeb has tied the knot with Roy Hershkovitz , music supervisor for “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” this evening at Brasserie 8 ½, a restaurant in New York.  The couple met two years ago when he interviewed Lisa to host a cooking show he was pitching entitled, “5 of 1,”about how five restaurants prepare a particular dish.

By the end of the meeting Lisa was smitten.

“I had a crush on my meeting,” she said

The couple exchanged vows in a Jewish ceremony in front of 275 guests. The bride wore a strapless pink wedding gown by Amsale Blue Label and the groom wore a suit by Paul Smith.

Congrats!

British comedian Ricky Gervais can add puppet singer to his resume. The “Ghost Town” actor is revealing that he is going to be serenading Elmo on an upcoming episode of “Sesame Street.”

“They’ve let me write a song. I can’t give too much away but I’m singing to Elmo,” said Gervais. “Can’t believe my luck. Being paid to go to New York to sing to a furry little thing. As I’ve said before, all my little friends are freaks.”

The star who in 2006 Ricky serenaded Marge on an episode of “The Simpsons,” will film his Sesame Street spot in New York next month.

Eddie Izzard visits Jonathan Ross

One of my favorite comedians Eddie Izzard was on this great episode of “Friday Nights with Jonathan Ross.”  He explains how he chooses whether to be a man or a women on a particular day since he is a “card carrying” transvestite!

He also talks about working with Tom Cruise on “Valkyrie,” his transition from stand-up to films, he announces his upcoming massive tour, and the comedic process in his head.

Spend the rest of the afternoon with Milo Ventimiglia

OUT17491161

There are so many hot pictures of “Heroes” mega-stud Milo Mentimiglia in this set, it will take you the rest of the afternoon to admire them all.

This collection is from a photoshoot in 2006 for Flaunt Magazine.

In the shots of him with the big hair, does’nt he look just like co-star Adrian Pasdar?

Lily Allen: It’s not Me it’s You”

British singer Lily Allen was on “Friday Nights with Jonathan Ross” last night. She seems to be quite shy which I would never have guessed, she spent have the interview giggling!

She personally confirms she is not dating the older guy she was spotted with recently, they admire photo’s of Lady Gaga, she chats about her upcoming tour, and she performs her new song, “The Fear.”

Her new cd, “It’s not me it’s You” will hit stores February 9th.

William Shatner visits Jonathan Ross

“Priceline.com” star William Shatner visited Jonathan Ross last night. The man who became known all over the world for his role as Captain James T. Kirk on “Star Trek.”

Bill discusses what its like to be admired by royalty, how his role as Captain Kirk changed his life, how he feels about not being in the new “Star Trek” film, the daily stress of working on “Boston Legal,” “T.J. Hooker,” and mortality.

Though I’m not a big Shatner fan, I enjoyed the banter in this interview. Great duo!!!
