Yes there were rumors about Karina Smirnoff and fellow “Dancing with the Stars” alum Maksim Chmerkovskiy doing the horizontal mambo but now they are engaged!? Woah!

A source close to the couple is confirming to E! Online that Maksim sealed the deal with some bling from Harry Winston before the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve!

Maksim is a major step up from Karina former lover Mario Lopez. Blech! Look at the stud she scored now! The duo will return for the next season of DWTS on March 9th.

Congrats to the happy couple!
