Amy Poehler has a Spring Breakdown
New mom Amy Poehler premiered her new movie, “Spring Breakdown” at Sundance last night. This flick was written by fellow SNL alum Rachel Dratch.
The storyline revolves around 3 thirtysomething friends (Rachel Dratch, Amy Poehler and Parker Posey) who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on South Padre Island that’s a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds. One of the women works for a powerful senator whose daughter (Amber Tamblyn) is one of those co-eds, only she’s as geeky as her chaperones.
The three give in to the temptations of kegstands, random hookups, and the college popularity they never got while in school.
