“Bionic Woman” star Michelle Ryan must have been sad after her show was canceled, but things always have a way of working out.

Michelle has been busy filming for her guest role on Dr. Who’s Easter Special this week. The truth is, the executive producer is very interested in having her join the cast in 2010 when Matt Smith takes over for David Tennant in 2010.

“Michelle is one of the most sought after young actors in the country and we are delighted to announce that she will be joining the team.” said Russell T Davies, Executive Producer of Dr. Who.

Michelle is looking forward to her her new Sci-Fi role on Dr. Who.  She will play Lady Christina de Souza in the special called “Planet of the Dead.”
