What’s wrong with Khloe Kardashian’s new man?

khloeman1

Maybe I have not been keeping up with the Kardashians as much as I should have.  When did Khloe get a new man?  Apparently she has been dating Minnesota Timberwolves guard Rashad McCants.

More importantly though, is there something wrong with him? Khloe looks very natural in these pictures and he is just making these weird faces!? Does he normally look this way?

Kristen Stewart in Adventureland

“Twilight” star Kristen Stewart was out promoting her new movie “Adventureland” at the Sundance Film Festival today.  I just saw the trailer for this movie and it looks like it could be this years “Juno.”

Co-starring in this new comedy by Greg Mottola (Superbad) are Bill Hader, Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Wiig, and Ryan Reynolds.  “Adventureland” hits theaters on March 27th.

Brody Jenner on Regis and Kelly

Brody Jenner was on “Regis & Kelly” to promote his new show, “Bromance.”  He chats about interviewing guys to be his new “bro,” how he met his girlfriend, his new year resolutions, they guys crying on his new show, and we get to hear about Regis’s one-night-stand with Jack Nicholson!

Yeah this is not the best idea for a new show but he does give us something nice to look at!

Why are you at Sundance?

As I sit here and look through the pictures of all the people attending the Sundance Film Festival, I find myself wondering more and more why certain people are there.

Here is my list of the ten people who have no reason to be anywhere near Sundance. If any of you can explain why they are there, please tell me. I’d love to know!

Colin Farrell flies solo

I’m glad to see Colin Farrell looking like a healthy papi again!  I was getting worried.  A few months ago who looked like he was taking dieting advice from Carson Daly!

Farrell is currently under investigation alongside Seth Rogen and Darren Aronofsky after 18 different complaints were filed with the FCC due to improper words and actions that were committed during the Golden Globe Awards.  I  really don’t see what the big deal is?!  Farrell & Rogen joked about cocaine and Aronofsky shot Mickey Rourke the bird.  By the time all that happened it was late and night when children should not have been up watching anyways.  Big deal!

They should get fined instead for putting together such a sloppy show!  Half the actors couldn’t even work out how to get on stage!

P.S. Colin, you look very sexy in that hat!

Freida Pinto: Bombay Sapphire

I am one of the last few people who had not watched the highly acclaimed “Slumdog Millionaire.” I sacrificed my postings this morning to watch it. While I am sure you guys missed me, it was worth it. This is one of the best films ever made. I’d love to compare it to any other film to give you guys who have not seen it an idea of what to expect, but there is no other like it.

Two of the best things to come out of this film are Freida Pinto and Dev Patel. They are destined for great things.

Freida was featured in the latest issue of Arena Magazine. You will be surprised to learn that this was her first ever acting job.

“I was so lucky. As it’s an all-Indian cast, Danny Boyle wanted people who had no acting experience or training. He wanted to see anyone and everyone. So I auditioned for one scene where Latika meets Dev’s character, Jamal, again for the first time in years and makes him go away-what a bitch-and I just thought, well, I’ve given it my best shot. For 6 months I continued to audition. So rigorous. It was like going to acting school, and I was never sure what was happening. And then I got the call that said, “You are Latika, so get ready!” “The best moment ever.”

Freida was already a fan of director Danny Boyle. It’s amazing that she was able to work alongside one of her heroes.

“I used to adore Danny Boyle films, truly. I did a film course at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. We studied Trainspotting-yes, I did understand the accents, thank you! I loved The Beach, and also watched Sunshine and Millions. He can do anything: a horror flick, a children’s film, a Sci-Fi flick, anything.”

“Honestly, if Slumdog Millionaire was to be described in Danny Boyle terms, it would be a bit of Trainspotting, the romance from A life less Ordinary and the tension of 28 days later, all bundled together into this beautifully written, dynamic movie.”

Dev Patel visits Craig Ferguson

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Dev Patel visited with Craig Ferguson last week. He chats about the surprise sensation that “Slumdog Millionare” has become, meeting Danny Boyle, faking his Indian accent, living with his parents, getting on with his sister, meeting Clint Eastwood and the possibility of him doing an action film!

I promise to watch this movie this week!
