The naked babe from the Sex and the City Movie, Gilles Marini is the latest victim of the Dancing with the Stars curse. Gilles had to seek medical attention after feeling pain in his “oh so famous” groin area.
The 33-year-old model turned actor has been diagnosed with tendonitis in his groin and shoulder his rep confirms.
“He’s in great shape so he should be fine,” the rep tells E!.
Marini said he first started noticing the pain during rehearsal with his dancing partner Cheryl Burke.
“I felt something, but I say, ‘Lemme just work through it,’ ” he said. “Today, I am going to [a doctor] to see what’s up and so they can fix me.”
Regardless of the injury he is determined to perform no matter what!
“If it’s hip replacement I need to do, I will,” he said with a laugh. “I will recover in 24 hours so I can dance with Cheryl. It will happen!”
The first injuring was claimed by singer Jewel. She is currently being treated for tendonitis in both knees.
The new season of Dancing with the Stars premieres on March 9th.
