Actor Morgan Freeman has some splaining to do !!
I had almost forgotten about that car accident that Morgan Freeman had been in in August 2007. But the passenger in the vehicle, Demaris Meyer most definitely did not forget! Meyer has hired attorney Gloria Allred to file a lawsuit against the Dark Knight star. The duo will be holding a press conference today.
Oh the gossip that is gonna come out!! Demaris is going to give us the dirt on the relationship she was having with Freeman at the time of the accident. Also photo’s of the scene will be unveiled to explain the severity of Meyer’s injuries as a result of the car crash in which Freeman was driving.
Freeman suffered injuries to his arm, elbow, and shoulder. His hand remains paralyzed.
UPDATE: During the press conference held earlier today, Demaris Meyer said she was not having an affair w/actor Morgan Freeman. She claims they only just met that night.
“I have been labeled as the ‘other woman’ and have been accused of having caused the breakup of Mr. Freeman’s marriage. Nothing could be further from the truth,” Meyer said
She claims that Freeman offered her a house to stay in for the night because it was closer to her job than her friends house was. I don’t really get what that means? Does she not have a house of her own?
She does say that Freeman was a “perfect gentleman” but he also had indulged in alcohol while he was at the party.
Meyer’s lawsuit accuses Freeman of negligence for failing to properly operate the car, and she is seeking unspecified damages in an amount to be proven at trial to cover medical expenses and her permanent disability, among other things.

Come on now…you know the facts are out there. She was originally supposed to stay at Morgan Freeman’s lawyer’s home (Bill Luckett) but Freeman offered to let her stay in one of 3 guest houses on his property because it was closer to the interstate to Memphis. When SHE inquired if she would “have her own bedroom?” His response was not only will you have your own bedroom but you will be staying in your own house…in other words…you won’t be staying in MY multi-million dollar mansion YET woman…you ain’t all that – LOL!
What I can’t understand though…why would Morgan Freeman not have taken care of this situation already? He has more than enough money. I just knew this Confederate Hussy was already PAID OFF. What happened? Surely Morgan Freeman doesn’t need anymore BAD PUBLICITY!
Lets see…who is more negligent?, freeman for drinking and driving or that silly lady for taking a ride and knowing that freeman has been drinking????
