Mega babe Keanu Reeves was on-hand in Berlin to premiere his new flick, The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee at the 59th Berlinale film festival today. Based on the novel and directed by Rebecca Miller (wife of Daniel Day-Lewis), Private Lives revolves around the nervous breakdown of a suburban wife whose much-older husband moves them into a retirement community. Gossip Girl star Blake Lively stars with Reeves, along with Winona Ryder, Monica Bellucci and Julianne Moore. The title character, Pippa Lee is played by Robin Wright Penn.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee hits theaters May 28th.

Please welcome to the stage…Ms. Bin Laden!

Wafah Dufour, the niece of suspected terrorist Osama Bin Laden, is set to play a gig in London later this month. The model and musician, who has reportedly only met her notorious uncle once, will play at the Dead Or Alive club night at the Bullet Bar on Kentish Town Road in the capital on February 26.

@NME

If she were to want to perform here in the US, would you:

A. be ok with the idea of her performance in the states?

B. make an effort to attend or embrace her musical endeavours?

It takes major big ones to have an affiliation to such a notorious man, and publicly perform in a country directly affected by his terrorist actions. Let’s hope she keeps it on that side of the pond.

A-Rod is A-Liar.

NEW YORK – Alex Rodriguez admitted Monday that he used performance-enhancing drugs from 2001-03, saying he did so because of the pressures of being baseball’s highest-paid player.

@TBO

Did you hear that? It’s the millions of broken dreams of little leaguers all over the world who have just joined the Phelps-wannabes in what may be the most devastating 2 weeks for role model athletes. Both similar stories, yet the repercussions could be much greater for A-Rod. AR is someone who has been revered as a model athlete and personality of MLB, gliding his way into the Hall of Fame. Now he may join Barry Bonds as one of the most questioned athletic careers in MLB history. Phelps had gotten off easy, being that his incident happened after the Olympics, not leaving any question to his performance in Beijing or the fact that marijuana would have little or a negative effect on his athletic performance. Steriods will tarnish A-Rod’s legacy and continue to devastate MLB’s public appeal. At least we can all forget that he’d been hooking up with Madonna now, although I’m sure that’s what he’d prefer we’d be talking about. The positive side to all of this is that up-and-coming athletes will realize that every day it will get harder to pull this stuff off, and hopefully raise the standards and expectations of all sports.

P.S. Since the 2004 ALCS, this doesn’t surpise me. He cheated then and now we know he cheated way before then. Like my ex-girlfriends say “Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

I’m sure all the Yankee fans will have a sweet message for A-Rod that may go something like this:

Will Ferrell has a BIG… Bush.

According to the New York Times, a supersize photo of a male organ that Will Ferrell suggests belongs to former President George W. Bush has driven at least six audience members to storm out of Ferrell’s Broadway play.

Ferrell is starring in “You’re Welcome America: A Final Night With George W. Bush,” in which he plays the 43rd president. The Times reports that the audience members have left the show after a giant image of a penis is projected on the backdrop of the stage, and Ferrell’s lines lead the audience to believe the organ belongs to his character.

@MSNBC

As someone who didn’t vote for Hope and Change, I have some mixed feelings about this Will Ferrell project… mostly because I think WF is HILARIOUS! If you go to see Will, be it on stage or on film, you have to expect that something like this must happen! If Harry Potter can show his junk on Broadway, why can’t Will Ferell show a picture of one? This type of comedy is the last line of defense in the fight against political correctness.
