Need a job? Smashing Pumpkins is looking for a drummer!

The alt rock band, which currently consists of … frontman Billy Corgan, is on the hunt for a new drummer in the wake of original member Jimmy Chamberlin’s departure earlier this month.

And they’re doing it open casting call style!

Wannabe Pumpkins are being invited to auditions on April 10 in Los Angeles, Corgan announced on the band’s Web site on Monday.

ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz- huh? Oh. When they’re playing your songs on radio stations my parents listen to, and you haven’t had a hit in the past 10 years, you’re done. SP certainly doesn’t have the repetoire for any kind of a decent reunion tour either, thank god.

Josh Hartnett needs a nurse! Any volunteers?

The actor’s publicist, Susan Patricola, said he went to the hospital, by ambulance, early on Monday after “a flare-up of a gastrointestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the west end of London during the production of Rain Man last year.”

The 30-year-old Black Hawk Down star remains under observation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, but is resting comfortably, according to Ms Patricola.

Poor guy, I’m sure it’ll be so hard for him to find someone to take care of him while he recovers.

Amy Winehouse looks quasi decent?

Amy is working overtime to win her husband Blake Fielder-Civil back. The Rehab singer has been spending mega bucks on gym equipment, designer clothing and beauty treatments to try to lure him back into her beehive. I don’t think he really cares, he has moved his 17-year-old girlfriend Francesca Morralee into his London home.

A source tells Britain’s Look magazine: “Amy is serious about getting back with Blake and is willing to overlook the other women. The couple have always had an amazing chemistry and there was a time when they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.”

Umn yeah, while they were both on CRACK! Amy should keep working on herself and forget Blake. Next, Francesca’s mother should be looking after her daughter and stop letting her little star struck self mess with a released criminal known for introducing Amy to drugs. What is wrong with her?

Anil Kapoor to guest star on 24?

To celebrate the release of Slumdog Millionaire, Anil Kapoor spoke with Ryan Seacrest today.  The actor who has over 100 Bollywood films under his belt, confirmed that he is currently in talks to guest star on 24.

“It is still under negotiations. Within a week ten days I will know where I stand.” said Kapoor

Nearly most of the stars of this sleeper hit have made major moves in Hollywood.   He jokes that even the kids are more famous than him now!

“I have to make appointments with all the children, they have all become such big stars.  I am the only available accessible star from Slumdog Millionaire!”

Anil is going to be honored with a retrospective at the Indian Film Festival in Los Angeles from April 21-26. The salute will include screenings of his films Lamhe and Virasat as well as the world premiere of the English-language version of Gandhi, My Father which he produced.

A very modest Halle Berry visited Ellen to promote her new fragrance. The proud mom chats about her precious baby girl Nahla, her sexy cover on Esquire Magazine a few months after giving birth, her hopes to have another baby, and the result of years of hard work-her new perfume Halle.

Am I the only one who didn’t know she had a song/dance named after her?

Sexy Colombiana Shakira was spotted in the stands during the Nadal Vs. Gil match at the Sony-Ericsson open held at the tennis center at Crandon park in Key Biscayne, Florida yesterday.

You know I love you chica but I’m not feeling that hair color with those dark eyebrows!
