Reality Show star Jade Goody died in her sleep at her home in Essex, southeast England today. The 27-year-old mother of two gained fame at 21 in 2002 when she joined the reality television show Big Brother. She learned she had cervical Cancer during the filming of Celebrity Big Brother in the Summer of 2008.
“She had been asleep the past 24 hours and it happened very peacefully,” he told Us. “Everyone is, of course, devastated, but we knew this was coming. I’m just glad people are remembering her as a brave girl who took on this battle with courage and gusto. She’s inspired a lot of people.”
Her mother Jackiey Budden, who was at her side as she died, told BBC News, “My beautiful daughter is at peace.”
She is survived by her husband Jack Tweed who was by her side when she died, her two sons Bobby and Freddie, with an ex-boyfriend, television presenter Jeff Brazier. She also is survived by her mother, Jackiey Budden.
Budden told reporters Sunday: “Family and friends would like privacy at last.”
judging by the medical after shock of Goody’s passing, it sounds like she might have inadvertently made a huge difference for cancer prevention in the U.K.
that is so sad, she’s so young, and her babies..
