Fox Atomic has snapped up Rashida Jones and Will McCormack’s spec, “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” and has attached the “I Love You, Man” actress to star.
Jones, who is best known for her stint on “The Office” before segueing to bigscreen fare like “I Love You, Man,” began writing the script with McCormack in August. Project marks the first script sale for Jones and her fellow thesp McCormack, whose credits include ABC’s “Brothers and Sisters” and FX’s “Dirt.” Team Todd has a number of films in various stages of development and production, including Tim Burton’s “Alice” at Disney.
Jones will next be seen on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” which premieres April 9.

Studio has set Sean Penn to play Larry, and negotiations are underway with Jim Carrey to play Curly, with the actor already making plans to gain 40 pounds to approximate the physical dimensions of Jerome “Curly” Howard.
The studio is zeroing in on Benicio Del Toro to play Moe.
The film is not a biopic, but rather a comedy built around the antics of the three characters that Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Howard played in the Columbia Pictures shorts.

Man, this idea sounds terrible. Although in Holloywood, you never know. These are 3 great actors, but like the recent waste-of-time I saw was forced to watch, The Women was full of A-list and maybe the worst movie I haven’t walked out of… because I couldn’t.
The girl whose career rocketed to stardom after NOT winning ‘American Idol’ is returning to the series that voted her out. Jennifer Hudson, the Oscar-winning actress and singer, will reportedly be making a special appearance on the highly-popular FOX series. The Associated Press reports that someone close to the show revealed she will perform not live, but in a taped segment to appear in an upcoming episode. @ NY Daily News
It’s amazing the year that Jennifer Hudson has had. The Super Bowl, the DNC, some weird BET Award, etc. Unfortunately in her mind, I’m sure it may also be her worst. I think Idol has realized this season that big name stars alone were not going to bring back their ratings to astronomical heights. I see this as not only a marketing tool for former Idol contestants, but also Idol’s way of bringing back old characters much like they do on soaps. Don’t ask me how I know that. I want to take this opportunity to commend the family of actress Natasha Richardson for making the decision to donate their loved ones organs during such a difficult time. It is not an easy choice, nor do we like to think about our mortality but this story puts case in point where one day you can be fine and the next day, you could be gone.
While Natasha was about to disconnected from life support, her family made the selfless act to donate her organs so that other lives would be saved.
Organ donation “is very Natasha,” a family friend says in the latest issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. “She spent so much time fighting the stigma of AIDS; someone like that would naturally donate her organs. At least by donating her organs something good could come out of [the tragedy].”
For those of you who have not thought about organ donation maybe after reading this story you should take into consideration what an amazing gift life is and the difference you could make if you could save someones life. A dear friend of mine was saved by an organ transplant and has taken the cause all the way to Washington D.C. I’m very proud of her and would like to share some of her words with you guys today about the importance of organ donation.
