On the heels of his 44th birthday, actor Robert Downer Jr. heads into work to begin filming the sequel to last years hit, Iron Man. RDJ has already promised that Iron Man 2 will be centering on the title character more for the storyline.
He told Entertainment Tonight, “The film is almost entirely about character, and yet we still have twice as much action as we did last time, so it’s going to be nuts.”
“Essentially ‘Iron Man 2′ is about looking behind the armor, or the armature, of a superhero. It’s one thing to say you’re Iron Man, it’s another thing to be fully ready to do that.”
“Iron Man 2″ will also star Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Scarlett Johansson Don Cheadle & Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. It will be released on May 7, 2010.
