Even though actor Chris Noth has yet to sign on for the Sex and the City Movie sequel, buzz has started to leak about what could happen between Carrie and Mr. Big.
Firstly, could Mr. Big cheat on Carrie? It seems a young woman is going to be introduced into his life.
“Their marriage is going to face lots of challenges,” a SATC insider told Life & Style. “Big will be tempted by a younger colleague. It’s a juicy role for whoever they wind up casting.”
I agree that their has to be some truth about, “once a cheater always a cheater” but haven’t they been through enough already? I don’t subscribe to the idea that they should end up “normal” having kids etc but should Big cheat on Carrie and if so, should she forgive him? I really was hoping they would settle into a quasi normal existence. Bring drama in somewhere else.
Though it might be a good way for her to fall back into the arms of maybe a newly single Aiden? Well a girl can dream can’t she?
Also being said is that the ladies will have to alter their spending habits out of respect for our current recession.
“The proposed story line for Samantha will be her having to downsize her big-spending life after some of her investments get wiped out,” the insider reveals. “You will see her having to survive on a more modest budget but still staying true to her fabulous taste.”
Another plot point I do not agree with. Aren’t movies something we watch to escape reality? When we watch movies do they really need to reflect what is going on in the world? I don’t know how I feel about watching Samantha shop at H & M and the Gap. Its just not true to her character!

There’s a plot…?
Is the marriage even worth it if they keep getting into trouble? The first movie irked me with Miranda’s story. I love the show, but it gets a little tedious to watch what you thought a happy couple was, go through such difficult ordeals.
I think they need to let Carrie and Big FINALLY be happy and settled. Steve cheating on Miranda made sense with how they set it up, but they don’t need to do anything dramatic with those two. Enough is enough.
I want more Harry Goldenblatt! He’s a riot, and I hope they show more of Charlotte and Harry — they kind of let her “slip” a bit in the movie. Sadly, she seemed to be in the background, and Charlotte is my favorite character.
I agree they should let Carrie and Big just settle and stop all the drama. I just read that Evan Handler who plays Harry Goldenblatt has just signed on and will be in the sequel!!
I will keep my fingers crossed for more Charlotte!
Carrie and Big need to live happily ever after, if that is really true then they need to change it and I love Samantha’s shopping!!
Sure Carrie & Big (no one else could be him) need to enjoy – after all the wedding drama I think the entire cast should go on a cruise and enjoy each other.
I’d like to see Samantha meet a new love interest for her might be refreshing.
Charlotte & Harry sure have a good life. Lily & Rose might challenge them.
Miranda & Steve finally worked out their drama too.
Back at the reality front upon their return perhaps different cast members strive to change their lives.
We have seen Carri and BIG go through a lot to get where they are today.Please don’t let anything mess that up. Samantha should not loose her upper class self, shopping is a big part of who she is. Charlotte and Harry are sooo good together. Please dont change that. Last but not least, Marinda and steve work so well. Im very happy the got back together.I guess all in all, what the fans want, “at least this fan” is that what ever you guys throw at them, its all good, AS LONG AS THEY ALL END UP TOGETHER AND HAPPY. Carrie & Big, Charlotte & Harry, Miranda & Steve, and maybe even Samantha back with Smith. He was always so good to her.One can only dream.
I think Big and Carrie should live happily ever after. Carrie should have a baby, that would be the challenge for those two(the whole pregnancy, birth, and rearing of the child). Samantha should be happy with whatever new guy they find for her. And for the love of Mike, please make her dog stop humping every pillow in the house! I think Samantha could adopt a slightly older child, definetly can’t see her giving birth, but teaching style to a little girl, oh yea. I think Charlotte and Harry should have another child (a girl), after all Harry said that he surrounded himself in beautiful women(that’s just perfect). Carrie and Charlotte pregnant at the same time, that could be too funny. Miranda and Steve have been through enough drama. Brady needs to age a little and give him more humor, after all he is the only boy. Would love to see Miranda as a senior partner at her law firm.
I think Samantha should get pregnant by Smith. And leave all the character’s as is… if you change the character’s role, the movie wouldn’t be as good!!!
I think its time for them to wrap it up. Im a really big fan of the show and the movie, but their getting older and its getting a little bit ridiculous. What i think should happen in the next movie is: Carrie and Big finally happy (they’ve gone trough enough drama the last few years). Samantha facing financial difficulties but still looking fabulous as always. She should have Smith back in her life. They were perfect together. Miranda and Steve also happy. Maybe but just maybe she should have another kid. Charlotte and Harry don’t need anymore kids. It would just look stupid, in the show they couldnt have any and then all of a sudden “baby-boom”?!? Its just not right. All that should really happen is them being happy. P.S.: PLEASE CUT DOWN ON THE SCREAMING (that was so annoying, every time they saw each other)

if you get me, like in my head i have for the teaser trailer somthing like
its raining heavly and carrie is lying in the middle of the road and she looks up and she’s all brusied and battered and then a car comes speeding out of nowhere
and before you know if it hits her or not the trailer ends…. id love to be a movie director some day lol, anyway all im trying to say is it would be good if it was really exciting..
and yes it would be better if the just made another series then a movie
they could fit more in it..
I think Samantha should get pregnant. Smith’s gone oversees and she’s on her own (with the girls of course). Leave Carrie & Big alone – it’s enough for them. Miranda and Steve could be expecting again. Charlotte could be opening her own Art Gallery and Harry giving up his job to help her, which would cause strains on their marriage… however, they’re awesome, so they’d make it through. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand as much as I love ALL the characters, a death or serious injury wouldn’t hurt to spice things up….
Carrie and Big have had enough drama!!! Let them live in happiness already! However, I do like that the last movie had some marital struggles for miranda, and that they exist in the show, because it is good for people to see that marriage isnt a cake walk. It takes work, and its nice to see hollywood showing that. Big cheating on Carrie is to much after all they have already gone through tho, please leave them be! MORE CHARLOTTE in this movie PLEASE!!!
