Have we forgotten what happened when The Brady Bunch tried out the big screen? Actor John Stamos says he is currently working on a movie idea that would take the Tanner family to a movie theater near you!
“I’m working on a movie idea, but it wouldn’t be us playing us,” he told New York’s Daily News. “I’m not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years” of the 1987-95 series.”
The former ER star has some idea’s for the recast:
James Franco would be perfect as Uncle Jesse, he says.
“I see Steve Carell as Danny Tanner [originally played by Bob Saget] and Tracy Morgan as Joey Gladstone [originated by Dave Coulier] because he’s funny,” Stamos continues.
I highly doubt James Franco would commit to this movie!
