I’m going to get all girly about this news!! Working Title Films is currently working on a third installment of the Bridget Jones series starring Renee Zellweger.
According to Variety:
The untitled third “Bridget Jones” pic, which is still in its early stages and probably won’t go into production until the end of next year, will see Zellweger reprise her role as a British publishing exec struggling to find love.
It will likely be based on the weekly columns author Helen Fielding wrote in 2005 for British newspaper the Independent in which Bridget, now in her 40s, attempts to have a baby before it’s too late.
When last we saw Bridget in The Edge of Reason she managed to get a proposal from Mr. Darcy and the movie ended with her parents renewing their vows. I’m hoping to see her wedding to Darcy and then have it lead to her trying to have a child. I hope we get to see their wedding!
I also hope Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) is there trying to keep thing from running too smoothly.

I thought of the third installment just last week and look they are going to do it, i’m thrilled to pieces and i hope that hugh and colin come back to play their parts again. there’s goy yo be a wedding and a baby and a mystery to who ends up being the daddy. we need hugh grant to mess things up again, he is so lovable in any thing he does.
OMG, i was watching the movie the other day and they are really going to do a third installment. I am so happy i can’t wait to see Hugh and Colin play their parts again, especially Hugh Grant we need him to keep making it more interesting, too who will be the father. without his ways and charms the movie won’t be funny. Hugh is soo adorable in all of his movies, the man is good at Romantic Comedy Movies.
Yes, I know the second movie wasn’t as good as the first but, hey…they both are still tres entertaining! Even for us guys! Er, actually…especially for us guys who appreciate a curvy woman. Renee in ‘Chicago’ was a stick-insect but as Jones, she’s delish! I’m looking forward to No.3!
