As if anyone needed a bigger reason to come to Miami other than the hot sun and the sexy people, Mercedes Benz enticed celebrities like Gilles & Carole Marini and Whitney Port with a fashion show!

The mega stud that hit the big time with his role in the Sex and the City Movie and later dazzled the world with his dancing skills on Dancing with the Stars cuddled up to his wife during the L*Space by Monica 2010 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim at the Cabana Grande at The Raleigh in Miami Beach yesterday.

Next up for Marini is a guest spot on the final season of Nip/Tuck. He will play the role of Alexis Stone for two episodes.

Brand wears short shorts!

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Russell Brand in shorts and I like it! The British Bon Bon showed off his sexy legs as he walked to a nearby gym in Soho yesterday.

I wonder who the lucky girl in the sunglasses is? She is definitely walking over with him!

Brand will be lending his voice to the upcoming animated film Despicable Me alongside Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Jemaine Clement, Danny R. McBride, Will Arnett, Julie Andrews, and Kristen Wiig.

Russell Crowe shares the wealth!

Not only is Russell Crowe one of the hottest stars in Hollywood but he is also a generous gent. Crowe, who is currently filming Robin Hood in the United Kingdom, helped out a boom mic operator after she lost her car in a fire.

38-year-old Denise Yarde received £5,000 (roughly $8,200) from Crowe after he heard about her ordeal. At first he cracked a joke about her situation but Yarde set him straight!

Denise quipped: “Well I suppose it’s OK for you Russell. You’ve probably never had to worry about finding five grand for a new car.”

He felt bad because he had not meant to hurt her feelings so he handed her a wad of cash so she could buy a proper car. Denise purchased a 2007 Saab and very graciously gave the big star a huge hug!

A film insider said: “Denise’s job involves dressing like an extra and getting right in the middle of the action to pick up the dialogue, so without her there was no filming for a few hours.

“By the time she got to work everyone knew what had happened and she came in for a bit of mickey-taking for driving an old banger.

“Russell joined in with some of it and she took it in good heart. But at one point, after she said about him never having to worry about buying a new car, Russell went quiet and everyone thought that was the end of it.

“Then later in the afternoon he sought Denise out and gave her the five grand.

“It was a lovely gesture by Russell, who is known on the set for his generosity.”

I don’t think he intentionally made fun of her but he more than made up for it.

Gotta love this guy!!

Is Kendra Wilkinson expecting a boy?

Are Kendra Wilkinson and her hubby Hank Baskett expecting a baby boy?

The newlyweds were spotted at Hollywood’s famous baby boutique Bel Bambini on Friday and Kendra seems to have expanded overnight!

She had a chat with E! News, who is currently following the couple for their reality show and possibly revealed the sex of their baby!

“We have a young David Beckham inside of me right now,” Kendra said. “He just started kicking….I’m sorry….he or she just started kicking about three days ago”.

We all know Kendra can be a bit clueless, I think she accidentally let it slip!! I think she’d do great with a little boy, she loves sports and she is married to a football player.

I can’t wait to find out!

Possible Season 3 for the Conchords?

Tonight I wish to offer fellow Flight of the Conchords fans a glimmer of hope.

I was just reading this article announcing Jemaine Clement would be lending his voice to a new animated film entitled Despicable Me alongside Steve Carell, Julie Andrews and Russell Brand, when I noticed a small sentence that caught my attention.

Bret Mckenzie’s mom, Deidre Tarrant revealed that our boys may postpone their plans to quit the hit HBO show on the heels of all their recent Emmy Nominations!!

Tarrant told Sunday News: “I think they will go on.

“Would you stop this while it is still on this sort sort of a roll?

“We want them to be there. They are really excited about the nominations.”

Would a Conchords mom give all of us fans false hope? I doubt it.

She also said the boys would “emerge soon.” HBO is releasing their second season on DVD on August 4th so that may be a good time for them to come out of hiding. Jemaine’s been enjoying his time off in Greece while Bret has been hanging out in Wellington.

“They want a break away and (get some) new ideas,” she said.

“They have both got other projects in the pipeline.

“They just want some real downtime.”

So possible Season 3 just not anytime soon? I could live with that.

Is American Idol dumping Paula Abdul?

If you love American Idol judge Paula Abdul you might be in for a surprise! Abdul’s manager David Sonenberg told the L.A. Times the former singer/dancer may not be returning for another season. While all other judges have already signed up it seems she’s not even been offered a proposal yet!

“Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on Idol. She’s not a happy camper as a result of what’s going on. She’s hurt. She’s angry,” Sonenberg said. “I think at this point we’re going to be considering everything, including some kind of a competition show. She has tremendous ideas for a whole variety of shows.”

Will you still watch Idol if Paula doesn’t come back?

Spotted: Matt Lucas & David Walliams

Two of the funniest blokes on the planet, Matt Lucas and David Walliams were seen having lunch together at Lemonade in Los Angeles yesterday.

The duo recently received Emmy nominations for the American version of their hit show, Little Britain. They are up for awards in Makeup for a single camera series (non-prosthetic) and Prosthetic Makeup for a series, miniseries, movie or a special.

I wonder if they plan to make another season of Little Britain U.S.A.? It was a lot softer than their British version but I really enjoyed it. Via his twitter account Matt had this to say.

: Despite reports, we have NOT killed off Little Britain. We want to make some specials eventually, but do some other stuff together first!

Does this apply to Little Britain U.S.A. also? I could have sworn HBO renewed this series for another season?
