After spending some time in London promoting The Ugly Truth, we may now find Gerard Butler back in New York City. The gawd donning gray was spotted walking around the streets of Manhattan today. He must be back in town to continue filming with Jennifer Aniston who has been busy at work on The Bounty.
Gerry recently told Britain’s OK Magazine that he is not a “commitment” kind of guy.
“I live very much in my own head and I don’t always like that somebody else is playing such a big part in your mind and your psyche. It’s tough to deal with that vulnerability because I still have that element of ‘I can’t do this! I can do this on my own! I’m all right! — and then suddenly, someone holds this power over you.
“Men are much more weak and vulnerable than they let on. I am full of phobias about commitment. Yet, when you break through those barriers, it’s great.”
It will take a very special type of person to get beyond those barriers, but I bet it will be so worth it!

Enjoy your life to the fullest… When you find that special someone may you have a lifetime of happiness — May all your dreams and desires come true.
I hope you find your perfect partner. Regardless – My sincerest wish is for you to be HAPPY no matter what!!!
Enjoy your hard earned success! Someday you may find that partner in life, but there is no rush!
I wish you only more success, and much happiness!
Been there done that, Gerry, but once you break through, take the chance, and find that special someone, you will never be the same. It is wonderful and sure beats the lonliness of the soul that you will find growing and growing as you go on alone.
No rush, certainly, but there is an optimal time for everything…….and it would not be ideal, to be mistaken for the grandaddy at your child’s soccer game.
We all want to fall in love. Why? Because that experience makes us feel completely alive.
Where every sense is heightened, every emotion is magnified, our everyday reality is shattered and we are flying into the heavens.
It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon. But that doesn’t diminish its value,
because we are left with memories that we treasure to the rest of our lives.
Gerry, may your life be full of bliss, may every day bring joy to your heart.
May you enjoy your success and know you’re fans LOVE YOU and the work that you do.
