  1. I am the ultimate Psych fan and can Promote/Pimp the show by: wearing the Psych T-Shirt every day, placing the talking bobble head set it my car so EVERYONE can see/hear, by giving the pineapple stress toy to someone who stresses that Psych is not on EVERY day, by carrying both the novel and the comic book with me at all times ..and when uninformed peeps ask “hey, what’s with those?” I’ll say “PSYCH”!!!! and then tell them their fortunes with the Psych Magic 8 Ball – (I’m just gonna keep watching the Season 3 DVD to stay Psyched) ..and so, by winning this Fabulous prize, I can get THRONGS and HORDES of people EXCITED and PSYCHED about watching and talking, blogging and tweeting about PSYCH! =) Sheindie

  2. I was all set to go to Comic-Con and super excited to see the cast of Psych and collect some swag (the swag ended up being a lot of stuff in this pack and even though I begged on Saturday, they wouldn’t give me any). Right before I left on Thursday for the Con, I was called in to the office and told that I wouldn’t be able to go Thursday or Friday now because of an important project even though I put in for the time months ago and bought a four day pass a year ahead of time. I ended up only being able to go on Saturday – $75 for a one day pass :(

  3. I am the ultimate Psych fan due to the fact I haven’t missed an episode since the premiere. In fact I’m watching it right now while I type all this. My friends always compare me to Shawn since I use the most random logic for complicated situations. Unfortunately, I could go to Comic Con to see the crew. I am without a doubt probably the most devoted, probably youngest, Psych fan of them all. Whenever I see the pineapple anywhere, I always have to take a shot of pineapple juice. Tomorrow, I wanna set up a whole event for the premiere with all my Psych-os to watch what happens for the 4th season. If this show gets cancelled before it’s time I’ll be crushed. PSYCH-OS UNITE!!!

  4. I want to keep this short and sweet. I would really love to win the Psych prize pack myself. I am a great fan of Psych and I look like a lot of Gus. Also as Gus would do in this situation, he would correct you and point out that your sentence “All you have to do is tell my why you deserve this fabulous prize and I will pick the best answer” should be “All you have to do is tell me* why you deserve this fabulous prize and I will pick the best answer.”
I love psych and it would be honor to win these great memorabilia.

  5. And like Gus, I would correct my own grammatical mistake in the above statement =).

  12. In between the lines there’s a lot of obscurity,
I’m not inclined to resign to maturity,
If it’s all right, then you’re all wrong,
But why bounce around to the same down song?
You’d rather run when you can’t crawl.

I know, you know, that I’m not telling the truth.
I know, you know, they just don’t have any proof.
Embrace the deception, learn how to bend,
Your worst inhibitions tend to psych you out in the end.

I know, you know, (you want to give me the prize)
I know, you know, (you want to give me the prize)

  14. I’m not really sure why i should win this. I mean I’m a huge psych fan, but i have no extraordinary reason as to why i am the best person to win. All i can say is that psych is one of the best tv shows of all time, and I’m just glad it’s back for a fourth season.

  15. I deserve to win this incredibly sexy prize because I’ve been entering these “Psych” contests for a few days now and your site is by far the sexiest. And I’ll give my pineapple shirt–should I win it–to my very best friend! That’s not only sexy, it’s what Shawn and Gus would do.

  16. While I’m new to the show, I caught up with remarkable (and pathetic) speed and it’s joined the ranks of my top fandoms. Every time I see a pineapple in real life now, I smile. I talk to people ad-nauseum about the show, so much so that I even got a friend to go out and buy the first season without so much as seeing an episode first! I dragged several people along to the Psych panel at Comic Con with me, and now my boyfriend’s father has been proudly wearing the Psych Comic Con shirt all over town. I love this show!

  17. I should win because Psych is like someone taking all the things in my head and putting them on TV and I’m not just making this up now to win, I said it back in February on my blog.

  18. I want to win this because my daughter and I love watching this show together. She is 12 and sometimes DAD isn’t the coolest thing around with her and her friends. But if I can win her this Psych Prize Pack, I will certainly be the coolest DAD ever with her and her friends!

Thanks for giving me that chance.

  19. I struggle with insomnia, and Psych is the only thing that calms my mind down enough for me to sleep. The thought that the good guys always kick the bad guys butts and have a good laugh while they do it is very comforting. I never was a big fan of comedy until Psych, but it has me laughing out loud at every episode–something nothing else has been able to accomplish.

  21. I have watched every episode of Psych from the beginning. Well, to be fair, the first episode I saw was Spellingg Bee. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen! As soon as the first season came out, I begged for the DVD set for Christmas. I can probably quote almost every word from both that season and the second. Unfortunatly, now that I’m in college and paying so many extra bills, it’s going to be ridicuously hard to to afford the third season. I’m saving up for it though! Still, this is one of the reason’s I feel that I deserve to win. Psych is the show that I watch every Friday night, AND now all of my friends at school watch it too! We NEVER go out before seeing Psych, and if one of us is forced to miss it, they MUST watch it by the next night. I really love Psych and I know every person here will say the same thing (and it will be true), but I breathe Psych! You have no idea how many 80’s movies I’ve watched because they mentioned it on Psych. Whenever I can answer a question with a Psych phrase I do it (“Are you sure?” “Fairly to pretty damn!”). For the season premiere I’ve even decorated pineapples to look like some of the characters (So far I have Shawn and Lassie done–my goal is to finish Gus for tonight). Last but not least, my best friend and I go by the nicknames Shawn and Gus (I’m Gus), and we even have our own handshake (complete with fist bump of course)! Because of all of this, and much more, I feel I deserve to win.

  22. I wrote Psych off from the beginning. I hadn’t ever heard of it. All my friends told me it was witty, creative, and smart, but I continued to write it off. Basically because it was on USA. I hadn’t seen a good show on USA in a long time. So I didn’t give Psych the time of day. It sounded cheesy. No thanks. I was better than that. Then, one fateful evening, as the stars aligned, a good friend let me borrow the Season 1 DVD. I’d be pressured enough and decided to give it a try. Even with the DVD in my possession, I was still doubtful. After the FIRST EPISODE, I was trying to figure out how I was going to watch the first two seasons on DVD as quickly as possible (this was before the Season 3 DVD). I literally can’t remember how many times I’ve paused this show because I’ve been laughing so hard. The jokes are fresh, the writing is very intelligent, and lets face it, the characters are PERFECT. Shawn, Gus, Jules, Lassie, et al. – their respective actors/resses are brilliant. I didn’t want any part of this show. Now I can’t get enough!!!

  26. First of all, Psych is by far my favorite show. Second of all, those bobble heads would immediately go on my desk as to stir up curiosity and bring others over to the Psych side. Thirdly, I tend to quote Psych in everyday life (and a fist bump to those who actually know what I’m quoting when I use it nonchalantly in conversation).

    And…

    Wait for it.

    Wait for iiiiiiit.

I really just want to show off all that great stuff to anyone who will listen to be drone on about the wonderfulness of Psych.

  28. I deserve the prize pack because this has been the worst week ever for my husband and I and although we’ve been siked to watch Psych and are huge fans, we’ll miss the premier tonight. My husband’s best friend was in a horrible motorcycle accident and passed away on Tuesday and we’ll miss the show because we’ll be going to the viewing tonight. Then today my husband found out he’s losing his job and we have a 4 month old baby. Not a fun week. We need a total pick me up and to lose our troubles by watching Psych. Maybe later this weekend we’ll get to see the premier online or if they replay it on USA…

Please, redeem our week and make something good come out of it!

  29. I believe my 13 year old deserves this prize, because…. She has major major crush on James. I wrote him a letter for her and USA sent back a signed photo :o ) She has computer photos of Psych all over her wall. We have seen every episode a “bizzilion” times! I would like to win this for her. Psych has been a needed distraction in our lives over the past few years. Finally, a “brilliant” show on with actors/actresses who make me believe they are truly the characters they play. It’s hard to relize at times that this is just TV. I believe in these characters so much, I feel for them, I laugh with them, I want so much for them to succeed. There is nothing like it, nor every will be again. Thanks Psych writers, thanks to the crew, for giving us such great friends on Friday nights :o )

  31. As President of the Gus “T.T.” Showbiz Fan Club (The extra T is for talent) it is imperative that I win as many items as I can with the representation of Mr. Showbiz. Mr. Showbiz is the epitome of cutting edge talent, as I am sure you would agree. Although people like you and me are “accidentally” sexy, there is no accident to Mr. Showbiz’s sexiness.

Unfortunately, I believe Mr. Shawn Spenstar is holding back “T.T.”’s fame (his friends are occasionally allowed to call him that.) Please forward this package of goods containing Mr. Showbiz’s likeness to me, so that I may place them at my altar of “T.T.”

    Thank you.

  32. I deserve the price becaue I look oh so sexy with my shaved head.

  33. I have been a huge fan of Psych from episode 1. It is my favorite show on TV and the thing I am always looking forward to the most. Psych makes the boredom of summer unemployment and the mediocrity of substitute teaching that much more tolerable because it gives me a good laugh and makes me happy at the end of every week. And this prize pack would serve to make life that much more exciting and awesome.

  34. Why do I need something as awesome as a Psych Prize Pack!?! Well, as one of the show’s biggest fans there is nothing I need more than a set of Psych talking bobbleheads to help me promote the show even more. Some of my office mates still don’t watch this amazing show, and I am sure that if I was able to display these talking bobbleheads prominently in my office, their humorous sayings would win over even the show’s biggest cynic. Ultimately, by giving me this prize pack you are not only giving an amazing gift to me, but you’re really giving back to the show and network who partnered up with you on this contest. So please help me help Psych!

Either way, thanks for hosting this contest! – The Blot

The bobble heads would be at my desk at the office nd also moved to the dashboard when I left.. The stress ball could easily be pulled out to calm folks down when they realize the show only airs for one hour on Fridays. The novel and comic book would be visible at lunch times and ready to be used at any times I hafta be waitin’ to do something, so folks would know what’s cool to pass the time with. And the magic 8 ball’s always a good way to get things done at the staff meetings… Lookin’ back at the Season 3 episodes with friends and neighbors for Psych parties will help get more exposure for the show, and, in general, I’ll help to promote this show we all love, PSYCH, wherever I have any influence, online or off!

Oh crap, I hit submit too soon. I promise I’m not trying to sneak away with an extra entry. You can delete my 1st comment, if you like.

  39. ^Was attemptin’ to match or outdo, point for point, the stuff told by Sheindie, who we all know is the biggest promoter of HEROES, Dexter, etc. So I would’ve put her comments in a quote block, if I knew how to do that here, and so you could see mine as a reply. Oh well.

  40. Because I’m crazy obsessed with Psych. I’ve been a fan from the premier of the very first episode- and my need to watch got my then boyfriend into it, and my Gchat status messages are almost always Psych quotes. I joined both facebook AND twitter JUST because I heard Psych was on it, and basically I love it, the song, the show, and the characters. I got very little sleep today so I could get up and follow the twitter feed on the season premier day.

  42. I honestly have no response to that. I mean, I know the psychic thing is sexy, I mean, that’s a given; it’s a sexy thing, but…I will need to see what you see. Wear what you wear. Drink what you drink. Are you a fan of delicious flavor? I can’t pay you. I’m quite sure we could work out some kind of services exchange. Was that inappropriate? …Felt ok.

The plot is thickening! Dude. Why don’t I ever get to say things like that? I should ask you a different question. How about a text message? I’ll be quick…Here’s a question: how do you make a face that’s winking with the tongue coming out one side? Oh my God. This isn’t a joke. You’re really quitting Psych? In a text message, no less?! Do you realize what this means? How sure are you? I’d say that’s pretty ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as Denise Richards playing a nuclear physicist named Christmas Jones in a Bond movie, but still…the good news, I’m available for hugs.

Didn’t see the end coming at all.

I love that they hide pineapples in the episodes. I’ve even started eating pineapple while watching the show. In fact, I’ve started hiding a pineapple around MY home and waiting to see how long it takes someone to notice where I’ve put it.

    1. I love psych
    2. Psych is superly accidental sexines

  45. I think I should win because..

Well, first of all, let me tell you a little story. Imagine with me, if you will, a beautiful summer day in a lush, green meadow where dragonflies dance and bumblebees buzz. Imagine a gently bubbling brook tumbling down beside a huge willow tree that towers over the perfect picnic spot, and warm sun rays peeping from between its long, flowing branches. I would like to tell you that this is where our story starts, but, alas, I can not.
Our story starts on the streets of Manhattan, where there are no dancing dragonflies and certainly no lush, green meadows, unless you consider my neighbors children’s chalk art on the side walk lush and meadowy. But still, there is something green in this world that signifies life and happiness.. we will get to that later. Let me take you back to the morning of March 21st, a cold, rainy morning when the skies drearily cried big, acid raindrops.
I had just awoken when my cellphone rang. My head felt like it weighed a million pounds as I lifted it off the slightly damp pillow. On normal nights I don’t drool, but because of my extremely long and tiring 18 hours of work the previous day, I had collapsed into bed without even taking my make up off. I don’t know about you, but for some reason that always makes me drool. Anyway, I rolled over into a sitting position and grabbed my cellular device off my shabby nightstand table.
“Hello?” I grunted, clearing my throat in the process. My greeting was soon followed by a rush of loud instructions, most notably the “Get your butt into work NOW!” one. I checked the time and it was quarter till a very ungodly hour in the morning. “6 AM?” I thought. Surely this must be a dream.. surely I must still be asleep. But, as I walked into my kitchen area and saw the very real cat barf on the floor, I knew it was not a dream, but my real, awful life.
The day progressed slowly, painfully even. Work was definitely not a basket of bread sticks, but more like a bucket of broken, used CD-RW’s… Uh, anyway, lunch actually wasn’t that bad, if you ignore the lack of napkins and overdose of mustard. After lunch was horrid, however. I got back to the office to find my boss wearing sneakers without socks. I don’t know about you, but I just think that’s weird. Also, the coworker I share a cubicle with decided it was annoy-your-coworker-by-telling-them-every-Twitter-update-they-see-from-their-favorite-celebrity day. If I hear, “OMG, guess what John Mayer just did!! He SNEEZED!!!” I swear I will shoot myself. Or the person who said it.
When I got home, I was a little down. Work was long and I wasn’t feeling extremely well. All I wanted to do was go home-home, back to a place where there was actually grass and stuff, and get away from my life in New York. I wanted something fun to do. But, I decided not to be melodramatic about it and strode over to the window on the opposite side of my apartment in three (very) small strides. When I looked out, I saw something on the building next to me. It was small, but what I saw astounded me. Well, the meaning of what I saw astounded me. I saw what appeared to be a chalk drawing of a pineapple, scrawled on the brick wall by a child. And by that I mean a very bad drawing of a pineapple. Actually I’m not even sure it was a pineapple. In fact I think it may have been a moose. A very pineapply moose. But at the time it reminded me of a pineapple! And that moosey pineapple reminded me of a time, earlier in my life, that I had been happy. A time when things seemed to fit together and my life was complete. A time in my life that I like to refer to as.. February 2009. The season in my life when Psych was airing every Friday night at 10/9C. And I thought to myself, “Wait… there is something here that is green, alive, and happy! And it involves fun. Really good, hysterical fun.” I rushed to the drawer under my TV (and by rushed I mean turned around to face.. yay New York apartments) and slid it open. It was as if I was opening a treasure chest filled with priceless gold, and it felt like it too. There, on the top, was a heart-warming sight: a DVD case with shiny green lettering spelling, “Psych: The Complete First Season.” There, amongst all the annoyances and crap of my life was a DVD-sized piece that was good, and funny, and amusing. Needless to say, I spent the rest of the night laughing as I watched episode after episode, completely, utterly, and blissfully happy.

I’m not sure how you couldn’t know how much I love Psych after this story. Psych is incredibly important to me. I’m a volunteer spokesperson for Psych too, always telling people about it because it’s so important that there is something so incredibly stupid and funny out there for people to watch. It’s hilarious.. and people need humor in their everyday lives. Psych is like a life serum for me and winning this prize would be like having more life and more happiness and more things to remind me that there are hysterically amazingly hilarious things out there when my life sucks. So please have mercy on me and pick me for this prize, it would mean a lot.

As a side note, that story was slightly fabricated. And by that I mean…completely made up. Hehe. However I think I should win the prize because I’m devoted enough to make up an entire story as to why I should win. Hope you enjoyed! :D Oh, and @Psych_USA referred me here. Cheers!!

I deserve this prize package because I tried so desperately to get psych stuff at comic-con and was denied. Even though I have had some hard stuff going on lately (who hasn’t) this is the one show that can make me feel 100% better. So please, make my day even more spectacular and let me win!

  50. i deserve to win the prize because i am soooooo accidentally sexy that i got proposed to on valentine’s day by a complete stranger, while i was at work, making him a delicious coffee beverage. (sadly, not pineapple-flavored)

“I have prostate cancer! You won’t even have to have sex with me! Just clean my house and cook and stuff, and I’ll die soon! Then you can collect my social security, and it will be a lot, because I am a veteran!”

i am STILL traumatized by that, falling into the occasional flashback whenever i pass the adult diaper section of the store. only a psych prize pack can sooth my suffering soul!

  56. Do I deserve a Psych prize pack? I hope so! I have been a huge Psych fan from the very first episodes, actually a little before, when USA Network started airing the promo spots with Shawn talking to Dead Zone’s Johnny Smith and Monk, I could tell I was going to enjoy the show and the character, never imagining it would become my absolute favorite tv show! I have entered every Psych related contest since that first episode in 2005, although I have yet to win one! :-D I joined myspace, facebook, and twitter only after I found out there were character and fan pages for the show, a silly reason? Maybe but I didn’t care! 98% of all my “updates” are a quote from Psych, which I think my friends enjoy as I usually get some funny comments, you would be surprised that there is a Psych quotes for almost every situation in life! I ended up meeting one of my best friends, Jodie, a fellow Psych fan, while competing for a spot on Shawn’s top myspace friends list, we ended up becoming great friends and even started a 3D cake business together, http://www.drastudio.com/cakes/index.html, all because of a mutual love for an awesome show! I have introduced many people to the show already who have become incredibly loyal viewers, most recently my 10 yr old nephew Alex who has now become almost as obsessed as I am! We (my nephew and entire family) are constantly quoting lines, fist pounding each-other, hunting for pineapples everywhere and threatening to punch each other in the knee! Oh and I also can’t quit saying “Dude!”, something I never said before the show, thanks Shawn! :) A I would love to win this contest, even more so because the Psych shirt I bought years ago, I have worn so much it is literally falling apart, we are desperately trying to sew it back together since I don’t have money to buy a new one right now! Thanks so much for the contest and for considering me for a prize!!

  57. I KNOW I deserve to win this contest! I’ve been a Psych fanatic from the beginning and it’s my favorite show ever. I’m serious when I say that this show changed my life. I aspire to be a writer because of Psych and I met some of my best friends because we both watched the show. In fact, I’m watching the season premiere at a friend’s house who also watches Psych. So I love this show more than I can even begin to explain. It’s my favorite show of ALL TIME and winning this contest would probably make my life. I was really sad when I found out that the Psych swag wouldn’t be available to those who couldn’t make it to California/don’t have the cash for comic con, but now that I know that I can still acquire it, I REALLY want it. I would be so freaking excited to win this; I would most likely be jumping up and down if I won. So PLEASE let me win and make one of Psych’s biggest fan’s wish for the swag come true.

  58. I won’t say that I *deserve* to win more than anyone else, however I do feel that I am a true fan of Psych. I have been watching since the Pilot episode and, as the show has gone on I have discovered that Psych isn’t a great show because it’s “funny” or even “hilarious” (which it is)… I am such a huge fan of Psych because they have an amazing cast and crew when clearly love what they do. Because everyone working for the show obviously puts their heart and soul into the show it stands out above all other TV shows I am a ‘fan’ of. For no other show do I go to the lengths of fandom that I do Psych.

I love the little in-jokes in the show and try to know them all… even down to Winky Cutto (which is my handle on Twitter and on the Psych message boards), which is the name the cast gave to the rubber frog you’ll occasionally catch in the early season 2 episodes. Unfortunately, since then Josh Bycel (who works on the show) had kidnapped poor Winky because they didn’t want him on the show anymore.

Yes, these are the lengths of fandom I go to. I am on Twitter for the sole reason of following not only @psychwrites and @Psych_USA but everyone else I can that is associated with the show, including my fellow Psych-Os (or rabid beasts as James called us in a recent interview). Much of my free time is spent on both Tiwtter and the USA Network Psych message board talking about Psych, but also making friends with Psych-Os all over the world.

So, yes, like so many other Psych-Os, I’m a huge fan of Psych and would love to win these prizes… however I am only a fan because everyone working on the show is so amazing and so gracious to all of us fans. It is because of them that I am the fan I am today. Does that make me more deserving? Not up for me to decide.

  59. Why do I deserve this prize? Well, and this may be a slight cliché, but I want to win it for the right reasons. I don’t know if the fact that I’ve been a fan of Psych from day one means anything to you but I have been and can’t see my status as a fan ever decreasing because it’s only ever growing more.

I adore the characters so unbelievably much. They each have their own quirks and tendencies and emotions and so much more that sets them so distinctly apart from any other characters currently on TV. The characters do make the show for me and are such a reason of why I’m a SuperPsych fan.

If I can I try to get anyone I can to watch the show and I’ve already gotten my sister, her boyfriend and other members of my family into the wonderful show that is Psych.

Psych has me collecting pineapple memorabilia, or rather just pineapple items whenever or wherever I can. My room is decked out in little pineapple knickknacks.

Really, honestly – I just love everything about the show. I’ve never liked a show as much as I like Psych and don’t think I ever can.

  60. Alright Psych-o’s…get ready to be blown out of the water! Why do I deserve this? Why because I’m an huge Psych fan, that’s why! Been watching since a preview came on Comcast, before the premiere. Have all 3 Seasons on DVD. Have an autographed pic of the Psych-Man himself, James Roday. (got it when Season One commenced its Winter Season) Have assimilated many friends to the Psych-o side. Was a Psych Fan of the Week on the USA Network’s Psych site. (back in Season one, around the same time as Season one came back in the winter) And I also constantly quote, and pictify me and my friends “Acting Natural”. How’s that for a slice of fried Pineapple?!

  61. all I can say is that I have not missed an episode since day 1, and I waited at Comic Con for over 7 hours to see the psych panel… I just love it!

  62. I would really like to win because I am a HUGE fan on Psych and for some reason have incredibly bad luck in contests. I have converted several friends to fans. I love the antics of Shawn and Gus – they make me smile all week when I think about the episodes and re-watch them on the DVR on slow tv nights.

  63. I think I deserve the prize as I am a huge, huge, huge Psych fan… I am not working right now and would love to give my girlfriend a special gift for her birthday next month.
Kinda soppy I know… But I’m hoping to get the ladies votes here ;-)

  64. If it would help my chances of winning, I would take advantage of this opportunity to confess that I, myself, am psychic. If only being psychic were as easy as Shawn makes it appear! I never had a best friend, let alone a best friend like Gus who could help me to use my powers for good, or at least to figure out the winning numbers in the next lottery drawing. The one bright spot in my otherwise dark and dreary existence is Friday night, when new episodes of Psych air. Anyway, if it would help to convince you that I deserve to win, I would say all of the preceding; however, only the part about Friday nights is true. :)

  65. Let me tell you a story….. A few months back I entered a Psych contest and won Psych season 2 on DVD. Now I was definitely excited to win, however I was a little disappointed because I wanted one of the other prizes. I already had a copy of Season 2 because I am a huge fan and had to buy it as soon as it came out. What did I do with that DVD set? Well some people told me I should sell it and make some money, but instead I gave it to my 13 year old niece and made her a very happy kid. I love Psych, I have converted many friends to also loving Psych. Please give me the Psych prize pack and I will keep sharing the love of Psych with those around me! (including sharing some of the prizes with others :)

  66. *spazzes and twitches*

The spirit of your dearly departed relative just informed me that you should choose me as one of the winners.

    ;)

  67. I adore “Psych”. It’s my favorite show. I have seen every episode from the beginning. Both my husband and I enjoy watching Gus and Shawn get into trouble and wiggle their way out of trouble with their cleverness and luck. Nothing makes me more deserving than anyone else that has asked to win this prize, but I seriously covet all the wonderful prizes you are offering to true “Psych” fans. I would be delighted to win! :)

  68. this is one of the best shows i watched and i love monk too keep up the good work thanks patti god bless
