Newlywed Jenna Dewan is not forgetting about her girlfriends just because she just married one of Hollywood hottest hunks, Channing Tatum. Jenna teamed up with her homegirl Haylie Duff to watch the Legally Blond musical in Hollywood last night.
Jenna is slated to star in 3 films in 2009 though none of them have been given release dates. These films include, Falling Awake, The Six Wives of Henry Lefay, and American Virgin.
George Michael has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drug driving. The Sun newspaper has reported the singer smashed his £80,000 Range Rover into the back of a seven ton truck at high speed.
Truck driver Laurie Rowe said: “I was driving at 45mph in the inside lane when I saw a car come speeding up behind me, its lights on full beam. It must have been doing about 100mph and was weaving all over the place as if it was overtaking and undertaking. It smashed into the back of my cab and I felt a hell of a thump”.
He added: “His car went spinning across the outside lane and into the central barrier before bouncing back into my cab. He then hit the barrier again.”
“I pulled over and called the police and ambulance”.
“There was no movement from his car for what seemed like ten minutes. I was really shaken and thought someone had died”.
“The Range Rover’s bonnet was sticking up, the front panels were missing and all the windows were shattered”.
“Eventually the guy got out of his car. He came over to my cab and asked if I had stopped to give him a lift. I was stunned”.
“He was absolutely not with it, so I told him no. But he insisted and came around the other side of the truck and tried to get in the passenger door”.
“When it finally dawned on him that I wouldn’t give in, he walked off down the verge”.
George Michael allegedly walked one-and-a-half miles before other truckers forced him to stop and wait for the police.
A spokesman said: “The driver of a Range Rover, a 46-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of being unfit through drink or drugs. He was released without charge.”
A spokeswoman for Michael asserted that he had not been arrested.
I feel sorry for the truck driver… I’m sure his work buddies will never let him live down that fact that George Michael took him from behind at 100mph.
The Iron Man 2 & Sherlock Holmes star is reportedly in “close talks” to play the vampire character ‘Lestat’ in another version of Anne Rice’s classic Interview with the Vampire. The part was last played by Tom Cruise in 1994, and by Stuart Townsend in 2002′s “Queen of the Damned”.
Vampires seem to be seriously hot this year!
It’s good news because we get to see some new pictures of Colin Farrell, but the event is a bit sad. The cast and crew celebrated the wrap up of his latest film, London Boulevard at the Lonsdale Cocktail Bar and Restaurant in London last night.
No release date for this film has been announced yet.
