Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is not sure why the public is obsessed with reading news about reality celebrity stars. He doesn’t feel that they “contribute anything to the world.”
Radcliffe explained: “I hate celebrity culture but I’m unavoidably part of it. There are people who happen to be celebrities as a by-product of what they do.”
He continued: “People read every little thing about Peter Andre and Jordan, and I couldn’t care less. They don’t want to work, have no interests, no passions, nothing and yet they seem to be held up on pedestals.
“I don’t think they should be trying to push themselves on to us. It does annoy me, but of course I’m part of it.”
Though I like Peter Andre I do agree with what he has to say. Lately most of the “celebrity” news to hit the pipes has to do with reality “stars” Jon & Kate or Heidi and Spencer. I really don’t get the whole allure with them. (Which is why you don’t hear about them here!)

I cannot stand reality stars. I am kind of a sucker for Bravo reality TV, but more so their contests (project runway, top chef, etc.). I don’t understand where the obsession comes from b/c Daniel is right! They do absolutely nothing w/ their lives! Half of them are famous for being idiots (i.e. Heidi & Spencer).
