Jude Law does the solo thang

#3642311 EXCLUSIVE... Jude Law looks lonely and introspective as he stands in front of a movie theater on the Lower East Side on September 20, 2009 in NYC, where he waited to meet friends for a movie occupying himself in the interim with the New York Times. A girl briefly approaches him and appears to be flirting, but Law seems disinterested. Could he have learned his lesson from recent now pregnant fling Samantha Burke?

Jude Law is finding some quiet time amidst the busy streets of New York City. The Hamlet actor leaned against a movie theater wall to catch up on some current headlines while strolling through the lower East Side of Manhattan yesterday.

Hamlet will open on Broadway on October 6th.

Nice pics, love to see Jude. I want to say that I generally love your site you have here, but the writeup that pops up when the cursor is moved over a picture is something I read on another site, and I really think it’s lame-ass. Do you all just copy and paste each other’s irrelevent ruminations? I mean, everything with Jude is not about Samantha, not about picking up girls, not about girls flirting with him. Come on. The guy is just standing by, possibly waiting on friends or the show to start? Jeez. I guess itty bitty bloggers don’t know how to just remove themselves from things that are old news and can’t refrain from being uninterestingly ironic.
    Shame.

Just to educate you a bit, the words that show up behind the pictures come from the photo agencies we purchase the photo’s from. Since they own the rights we have to keep their description on the picture.

Since I agree with your thoughts about how everything with Jude Law now is not about Samantha it is not in my write up.

      Thanks for reading.

And incidentally, his Hamlet previews have already started with excellent audience response and a crowd every night at the stage door that extends to across the street behind police tape, with 8 officers standing by to keep everyone in line. I’m looking forward to being part of that crowd myself when I see Hamlet in October! Sexy-ass man being all Hamlet and everything.

  3. sheryl says:

God, I hope to meet him, too. I’ve been told that to get in front of the crowd at the stage door, you have to skip the curtain call…like, I’m a grown up, but I’m actually planning to run to the stage door just to get a 1 minute look at the man close up. Is that sad?

Thanks for the explanation about the text over the pics, Rosy. I wish it wasn’t there. It’s like a virus, you know. But I get you can’t help that.

I saw the first preview of his Hamlet in London and met when him at the stagedoor. He gave a fantastic performance and was nice, generous and patient with the fans. I think he’s just awesome.

This is a good site. Amusing without being offensive. Keep up the good work!

Thank you Daphne for understanding! I understand that some of the writing can be a bit much but as I said that is the caption that comes with the pictures. Not all pictures receive such captions it really depends on the agency.

I’m so happy to hear about your experience of meeting the fab Jude Law! There are so many actors that you can love so much but then they let you down in person. I’m glad to hear that Jude is not that type of actor.

I’m glad you get the general idea of this site. I just want everyone to enjoy some news and pictures of their favorite stars.

    Thanks for reading.

I will add to the thanks. This is one of the very few sites that at least do not condemn Jude. I am appalled at the vitriol that some bloggers attribute to him – like this is the first time a single guy has gotten a woman(a woman who willingly slept with him mind you, no rape, no force)pregnant. Some even called her Jude Law’s whore, the baby illegitimate, a mistake etc etc.

I also went to New York(I am from LA)to see his Hamlet and he did not disappoint. We also managed to get his autograph backstage and he was polite, generous, very charming and clearly respected his fans. Regardless of what people say about his personal life(and who the heck are we to judge him)he seems a genuinely nice person.

  7. Rosy says:

Thank you for the compliment Jazz! I am no one to condemn anyone for their actions. I am human also.

This is a private matter that is being dealt with between those involved. As his fans we really should love him for his work, his talents, and of course his gorgeous looks!

Anyone who has met him has had really really positive things to say about the experience and I don’t think it should be tarnished because of decisions he has made in his personal life.

As I have said though, since the story is public, is that the situation work out because in the end the innocent child is not at fault.

    Thanks for reading & commenting!
