Best known for her role as Jennifer Garner’s protege in Elektra, Kirsten Prout will be joining the Eclipse cast. She’s been cast in the role of Lucy, sister to Maria (played by Catalina Sandino Moreno) and Nettie. The three sisters are important characters in the backstory of Jasper Cullen (Jackson Rathbone).
I think it’s interesting that new characters are being cast while others, such as Charlie Swan (Billy Burke) and Billy Black (Gil Birmingham), have already been wrapped. Seems like a last minute decision to add the character if you ask me. And who, if anyone, will play the role of the third sister, Nettie? Jasper describes Nettie as blonder than Lucy, “still young enough to be called [a] girl” and with a face “like an angel’s.” So, who do you think could be cast as Nettie? I think Sofia Vassilieva (Medium, My Sister’s Keeper) fits the part pretty well!
