That’s right, if you’re near Pittsburgh and don’t mind giving up a pint of blood, you can see The Twilight Saga: New Moon at 11:59pm on November 19 (and 11:59pm November 20, but you’ll have seen it twice by then right?).

While most midnight showings sold out months ago, Central Blood Bank managed to hold on to a few tickets. Its best to schedule your donation in advance because I’m sure there are plenty of willing donors. Visit www.centralbloodbank.org or call (412) 209-7080 with the code Q002 to donate on November 2, or Q003 to donate on November 3. Of course, walk-ins are welcome also.

Did you know that one person’s blood donation can save up to three lives?? You know the Cullens would give if they could! Especially Carlisle, he is a doctor after all. In fact, Peter Facinelli (who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen) attended a Red Cross blood drive in Virginia Beach this past August. I think Twilight and all the recent vampire hype are a great way to promote blood drives.

Click here to find out more about the event. Oh! And be sure to tune into MTV this Friday to see the Twilight cast host “Ulalume: Howling at New Moon.”
