Star Trek icon Leonard Nimoy was honored at the Company of Angels 50th Anniversary Award Gala held at The Alexandria Hotel in Los Angeles last night. The veteran actor greeted fans and signed a few autographs before the show.
Also being honored were veteran actor Robert Ellenstein and performance trio Culture Clash.
Johnny Depp surprised the crowd who attended Spike TV’s “SCREAM 2009!” held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles last night. The Pirates of the Caribbean star presented the “Rock Immortal Award” to Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
“I liked the living legend, that was all right, but immortal is even better,” Richards said in an interview before accepting the honor.
Johnny loves doing these little surprise appearances that drive his fans into a frenzy! He dressed up a squirrel costume as he walked around so as not to be mobbed as soon as he was recognized.

Things are still going strong for new couple Russell Brand and Katy Perry. They attended a hot Hollywood Party yesterday with their friend American Idol judge Randy Jackson.
The romance began after meeting at this years MTV Video Music Awards and has since taken the duo to Thailand, England, Paris and now Los Angeles.

Her boyfriend and fellow actor Dominic Cooper walked the red carpet earlier this week and confirmed to reporters that the love that blossomed during their film Mamma Mia is still going strong.
‘Amanda and I are still very much together,’ Dominic, 31, said at the Vogue and Bulgari-sponsored Save The Children party in London.

Kristen and her fellow Twilight castmates have been nominated for ten awards: Ultimate Scream, Best Fantasy Movie, Best Fantasy Actress (Stewart), Best Fantasy Actor (Robert Pattinson), Best Supporting Actress (Ashley Greene), Breakout Performance – Male (for both Pattinson and Lautner), Best Ensemble, Scream Song of the Year (Decode – Paramore), and Best Villian (Cam Gigandet). Best known for her role as Jennifer Garner’s protege in Elektra, Kirsten Prout will be joining the Eclipse cast. She’s been cast in the role of Lucy, sister to Maria (played by Catalina Sandino Moreno) and Nettie. The three sisters are important characters in the backstory of Jasper Cullen (Jackson Rathbone).
I think it’s interesting that new characters are being cast while others, such as Charlie Swan (Billy Burke) and Billy Black (Gil Birmingham), have already been wrapped. Seems like a last minute decision to add the character if you ask me. And who, if anyone, will play the role of the third sister, Nettie? Jasper describes Nettie as blonder than Lucy, “still young enough to be called [a] girl” and with a face “like an angel’s.” So, who do you think could be cast as Nettie? I think Sofia Vassilieva (Medium, My Sister’s Keeper) fits the part pretty well!
