Katy Perry, Joss Stone, and Pete Wentz: Ready for the Berlin Ball!
While posing for multiple pictures and chatting with the press may come as a mundane ritual to some celebrities, Katy Perry, Pete Wentz, and Joss Stone all seemed to be in great spirits as they gear up for the upcoming show. The trio attended the The MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 press conference at the O2 Arena, in Berlin, Germany earlier today.
The 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards will be taking place tomorrow night, November 5, in Berlin, Germany. The talented trio of Perry, Wentz, and Stone will be in charge of the three part hosting duties. Katy Perry, host of the award show, is nominated for best video, as well as best female. Along side Miss Perry is Pete Wentz who will be serving as digital host, and Joss Stone, who will man the pre show red carpet.
The event will host a remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the Nov. 9 fall of the Berlin Wall.
“As much as it has to be funny, you also want to help educate my generation or the generation after me that might not know the importance of the unity of the Berlin Wall when coming down — how it really affected people’s lives,” the 25-year-old Perry told The Associated Press Wednesday.
The star-studded affair will be headlined with performances by Foo Fighters, Green Day, Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, and Shakira.
The only question yet to be answered is, did Kanye West get an invite?
