Gavin Rossdale surprises South Florida
Gavin Rossdale wowed the fans in South Florida yesterday. Yes, the former Bush frontman is known for his rocking vocals and enchanting lyrics but did you know this guy kicks butt on the tennis court?
Rossdale spent the weekend in Delray Beach where he participated in the Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic in support of the Chris Evert charities which fight against drug abuse and child neglect in Florida.
As a longtime fan of GR I was delighted to watch him practice with tennis great Martina Navratilova and snapped all of the shots in this story.
He played alongside tennis star Lindsay Davenport against Navratilova and her seasoned partner, comedian Jon Lovitz. The Rossdale/Davenport team won with a final score of 6-2.
In case if anyone had any doubts, the English gent was extremely sweet and had a really lovable shyness to him that made me swoon even more.
Up next for the doting dad of two is a guest role on the CBS crime/drama, Criminal Minds. He plays a goth rocker who’s linked to an investigation involving vampirism on the November 11th episode.
