Catch a glimpse of James Franco in the hospital
James Franco starts his stint on General Hospital on November 20th. He’ll playing a character named… Franco. I know, it’s a stretch, but I think he can do it!
The big question on everyone’s mind? WHY?? James, you can do so much better than a soap opera! Well, according to James in a brief interview with Vulture Exclusive, he has a grander scheme than simply being in a soap opera. He had the following to say on why he choose the project:
Well … I’ve got other ideas for my participation in this soap opera beyond just being in this soap opera. But it’s been a blast so far. It was kind of mind-blowing. I’ve worked one day on it. It’s one day of a few. But I think we packed seven episodes of my material in. They gave me a script for the day that was as thick as a film script and that’s what we planned to shoot in a single day. No ad-libbing. If I needed it, they said they had a TelePrompTer, but the regulars didn’t use it so I didn’t want to use it, either. Anyway, I’m pretty good at remembering lines.
Interesting, can’t wait to find out what he’s plotting! Check out a preview of James’ first appearance on GH below. I might actually have to watch it, even though that probably means just fast forwarding to his scenes.
