Being basically refined to award show performances and the occasional talk show appearance, Rihanna has yet to totally burst back onto the scene since the horrific Chris Brown incident. While she is still several steps ahead of Chris in rebounding from the whole debacle, she has not returned to her accustomed superstar status as of yet.
With Rihanna’s highly anticipated album “Rated R” just weeks a way from release, she is working harder than ever in means of promoting the project. The album is said to be her coming out as her own woman, as it hopes to let listeners connect with Rihanna on a more intimate level. She has collaborations with Young Jeezy, Will.I.Am, as well as legendary guitarist, Slash. Several of the tracks have already been leaked to the public and have been receiving popular reviews.
In regards to Rihanna’s upcoming album “Rated R,” Nokia, in partnership with Island Def Jam Music Group and Universal Music Group International, will be holding an exclusive launch party at a secret location in London on November 16, the week before the album debuts. At the event, she will be performing from her new album, and the kicker is that it will be streamed live online.
The event simultaneously promotes Nokias latest gadget, the Nokia X6 mobile phone.
When the album is released on November 23, the Nokia Music store will have exclusive cover shots, a remix, and even an exclusive track.
