Gerard Butler visits Jonathan Ross

Birthday boy Gerard Butler visited Friday Nights with Jonathan Ross in London last night.

If you don’t watch Ross on a regular basis you don’t know the awesomeness of his show. He had Gerry introduce each guest like King Leonidas in 300. The poor thing nearly lost his voice!

He chats about giving up alcohol, his failed career as a lawyer, how his acting career took off in America, getting in shape for 300, and how Law Abiding Citizen came to be.

Why I love Willie Garson and why you should too

NUP_136962_0444 (Medium)

Its rare the occasion when you get the chance to meet an actor you admire. Yes, you can have a chance encounter where you may see them at a press event, or maybe you can even bump into them at a store or a club. But when you are given the lucky chance to sit before someone that you truly admire and are able to have a conversation with them about their projects, their thoughts, etc it is very exciting!

I had that rare opportunity to chat with such a person, his name is Willie Garson.

Willie is an actor that plays such a variety of characters that can be lovable(Carrie’s gay best friend Stanford on Sex and the City), as well as not-so-nice (Lee Harvey Oswald on Quantum Leap) that you can’t help but love him. He takes a character and makes it his own.

The New Jersey native is currently starring in the new USA Network crime drama White Collar as the mysterious yet quirky Mozzie. At home he is also adjusting to a new role, that of a doting dad.

Here is a little insight on a guy who, after so many years in Hollywood, had absolutely no airs of grandeur and was just so funny it made me wonder why he hasn’t landed the lead role in his own show yet.

Grown Ups trailer released!

GrownUps Adam Sandler and his pal Kevin James are at it again, this time with Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade. In the upcoming film Grown Ups, the five actors play a group of old high school friends who’re reuniting for the first time in several decades.

They’ve come together to mourn the passing of their old basketball coach. Of course, once they get together it’s evident, decades of aging hasn’t left them any more grown up…

Adrian Pasdar may be leaving Heroes (yes I’m devastated) but it won’t keep the hunk from playing another hero.

Also guest starring is former Buffy the Vampire slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg who will be the voice of Valkyrie.

Russell Brand Signs DVDs in London

FP_4006548_GOFF_Brand_Russell_111309

Russell Brand made a lot of fans happy today in London when he appeared at HMV Oxford Circus to sign copies of his new Scandalous DVD. Unofficial reports from fans attending the signing indicate that Brand has denied rumors that he’s moving to the US permanently, despite the fact that his Hampstead home has gone up for sale. Good news for those UK fans who don’t want lose Ol’ Russ to the States! We can just borrow him, eh?

Meanwhile, Brand joked yesterday on Twitter that he’d like his BBC radio gig back. In response to a trending topic about the BBC, he wrote: “Come on. It’s been a year. Can I have my job back?” He refers, of course, to the infamous “Sachsgate” scandal that caused him to resign from his Radio 2 show a year ago.

The controversy surrounding the BBC scandal is just one topic that Brand brilliantly covers on the new DVD … go pick it up!
