Ok, so it’s not really news. I don’t even think it’s breaking. But, it IS always good to see pictures of Ben Affleck right?
Ben has been back in Los Angeles this week after spending quite some time out in Boston while filming The Town. Since being back in LA, Ben has been playing super dad to daughter Violet, giving mommy Jennifer Garner some much needed rest, and going to Jamba Juice.

Acclaimed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay held a book signing event today in London for his new book, World Kitchen.
Ramsay, known for his outspoken and often foul-mouthed persona on TV shows such as “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” took part in a lively meet & greet with fans at Selfridge’s department store.
The book features 100 simple recipes from ten countries around the world, showing that international cuisine can be both accessible and delicious.

Pro Bowl Quarterback Tony Romo doesn’t exactly get the attention of say, fellow NFL star Tom Brady, but recently, Starter has contracted Jessica Simpson’s ex-squeeze to do a little endorsing. Now it’s no centerfold in GQ, but Romo managed to ink a multi-year deal with the apparel brand that will keep the ladies happy, not only seeing him on the field, but off as well.
Commercials, print, online, billboard ads, they’re doing it big for the always smiling pro athlete. The deal is believed to be the largest footwear and apparel endorsement in NFL history; a 5 year, 10 million dollar contract.

Actor Jason Statham landed in LAX yesterday evening. He wasn’t as happy to see the cameras as there were to see him. In fact, Statham got into a rather heated argument with one of the videographers.
Now, generally, if someone clearly doesn’t want to be photographed, we don’t like putting their pix up. However, I feel it is necessary to point out the stupidity of the videographer in question here. Sure, in the end the he was able to calm Statham down. But, really??? You risked pissing off Jason Statham?
I’ve seen The Transporter films, Crank, Death Race, The Italian Job, The Bank Job… Don’t mess with the man if he’s not in the mood.
He owns his own record label. He started his own clothing line. He raps. He produces. He mentors and develops young, talented artists. And oh by the way, add Broadway producer to the list. Recently, the multi-faceted mogul, Jay-Z, has joined the likes of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith as a part of some quality musical entertainment in the Broadway Production of “Fela!,” which is the celebration of the life and work of a truly great human being, the late Nigerian composer, performer, activist Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
Being inspired by his music, as well as the life of Kuti, Jay said this job as producer was one that he could not pass up. In an interview with MTV news, he also had this to say.
“It’s an inspiration, about the power of music. Here’s a guy that’s on the other side of the world who was influenced by James Brown, who takes this thing and makes his own sort of genre of music. I just think it’s fascinating.”
The musical portrays the amazing artistry that was pioneered by the innovator of Afrobeat, including his journey with his music and also his political activism. “Fela!” was written by Jim Lewis and Bill T. Jones, who also had his hand in the choreography. Kuti’s original pieces were performed by members of the Brooklyn Afrobeat orchestra Antibalas.

Scottish actor Alan Cumming was honored earlier today with an OBE. The Order of the British Empire was given to the X-Men star for his services to film, theater, the arts and for his work as a gay rights campaigner.
‘That for me is the most important thing. I have a voice because of my work. I’m loud and I speak my mind,” he said. ”I feel it’s a lucky position to be in – that people want you to speak out for something you want to say anyway.
”My work has enabled me to do something with my opinions for good.”
Alan sported a Cumming Hunting tartan, with nothing underneath! Having just arrived from Australia he was worried he’d faint in front of Princess Anne.
‘(The Princess Royal) was lovely…She asked me if I was getting enough work. I love that.
”I said I had just come back from Australia so if I fainted to not be alarmed.
”She thought that was hilarious.”
He was joined by his husband Grant Shaffer, mother Mary and brother Tom.

A very snazzy looking Jude Law was spotted departing a building in New York City today. His assistant carried several suit jackets, all in black.
The actor who is currently living in New York while on Broadway, is not having much luck with his neighbors. NYU’s freshman dorm hall is located within eye shot of Law’s balcony. The young females have screamed at him, photographed him while exercising on the balcony, and even look inside the apartment with binoculars!
The girls are quite pissed off, one day he got mad and threw oranges at their windows!
