Psych renewed for another season!

The U.S.A. crime comedy, Psych has been renewed for another season!

The duo of James Roday and Dule Hill will be coming back for season five with the network ordering 16 episodes.

” ‘Psych’ just keeps getting better and better,” said USA president of original programming Jeff Wachtel. “Steve, James, Dule and the entire team keep us laughing and keep the audience coming back for more.”

Psych returns in January for the second half of the 4th season.

I hope this means the boys will be at SDCC 2010!!

Joshua Jackson will defend Earth

Joshua Jackson will be playing the role of Paul Foster in a Hollywood remake of the 1970′s BBC series UFO. Foster joins a secret agency called S.H.A.D.O (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization) who’s job it is to defend Earth from a race of evil aliens.

“Character development is the most critical part of ‘UFO,’ and Joshua’s terrific talent and range is exactly what I need to convey the inner conflict of the character of Paul Foster” – Matthew Gratzner (director)

Joshua has spent most of his career in dramas, but his success on the Fox show Fringe may send more sci-fi work his way. As a sci-fi fan, I hope to see lots more of him!

Susan Boyle blows away the Today Show crowd!

Sweet Susan Boyle warmed the audience, who suffered through a New York chill, to hear her voice.

I watched the performance as it happened and it was just so cute to see her funny side! She kept doing these little noises and dances that kept me cheerful throughout the show.

During her interview she thanked her many fans for supporting her and her new album, her achievements, the mixture of music on her new cd, and the special dedication she made to her mother.

SuBo performed I Dreamed a Dream and Wild Horses.

Matt Bomer attends Brother premiere

He may play a criminal on USA’s White Collar, but Matt Bomer sure can steal your breath away! (Wow that was so corny!)

He was photographed at the Cinema Society and DKNY Men screening of “Brothers” at the SVA Theater on November 22, 2009 in New York City.

The stars of the film, Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman were also in attendance. The dramatic/thriller hits theaters December 4th.

I was surprised to see Heroes make-up artist Wendi posting on twitter that she was working on a Sunday. When she said she was working with Zachary Quinto I couldn’t imagine a better person to share a Sunday with!

Hugh Jackman ventures into the Village

Hugh Jackman and wife Debra Lee Furness headed out into the Village earlier today. The two had their children, Ava and Oscar, along with another boy. It appears they were maybe headed to a party as Debra was carrying a pretty big gift bag with them. Someone’s going to have a very happy birthday!

Adoring fans welcome Susan Boyle to New York!

Boyle Fever broke out at JFK Airport as Susan Boyle arrived for the first time ever in NYC where she was warmly received by her numerous fans who waited anxiously to greet her.

SuBo will perform live on NBC’s Today show Monday morning to support the release of her first cd, I Dreamed a Dream followed by a tour of the sights on Tuesday.

Susan will receive her first royalty check on Monday but claims she won’t move to a ritzier home now that she’s come into some money. The simplicity of who she is, I think, is one of the reasons why everyone loves her so much.

“I don’t want to be moving an inch away from my family, and Pebbles doesn’t want to move.

“She’s lived there all her life and cats hate upping sticks.

“I’m the wee wifey with the mop and the cat next door. It’s what keeps me grounded – remembering I am just that wifey. And Pebbles would hate to live anywhere posh.”
