It’s Official: Everyone is in Miami for New Years Eve!

I remember, back in the day when New York City was the place to be on New Years Eve. But with the recent arrival of so many celebrities, it looks like Miami is taking over as hot spot, literally!

I was watching the Today Show this morning and I saw snow falling over Times Square as I sat at my house where it happens to be in the 70′s! I can’t blame everyone for escaping from the cold weather and wanting to lay out on our fabulous beaches.

Hayden Panettiere was spotted arriving at Miami International Airport this morning. While other stars like Harry Potter’s Tom Felton, and New Moon star Kellan Lutz have been here a few days. Christian Siriano, Leighton Meester, Colin Egglesfield, and Chace Crawford have also been spotted.

Bradley Cooper is over the moon!

Before heading to the airport today, Bradley Cooper took his beautiful dog Charlotte, a chow retriever mix, out for a walk near his home before preparing her for a flight. After arriving at LAX, Cooper made sure Charlotte was well hydrated and fed her bottled water through the crate. Oh Renee, he is gonna make a great dad!

The big-hearted actor rescued Charlotte from the pound three weeks before she was scheduled to be euthanized! A devoted dog lover, Bradley is known for bringing his dogs with him everywhere, even on movie sets!

Don’t worry about the wardrobe malfunction sweetie. Just remember, crack kills.

On the Salt Scene: Angelina Jolie

A raven-haired Angelina Jolie has been busy this week filming scenes from her new action/adventure film Salt in New York City. She was photographed on set today as she walked out of a SUV and headed on board a boat.

She got a very special visit yesterday from her partner Brad Pitt and their children Shiloh and Zahara. The girls must want to be just like mom. They wore matching black jackets, which Angie almost always has on!

Jolie is playing the role of Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy in this new thriller set to release in 2010. It co-stars Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Zoe Lister Jones.

Salt is being directed by Phillip Noyce.

Lady Gaga hearts Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle is not only touching the hearts of us regular folks, even celebrities are professing their love for the Scottish sensation!

The latest star to open up about SuBo is worldwide sensation Lady Gaga.

She said: “I love Susan Boyle. She is my woman of the year. She has achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime. This time last year nobody even knew who she was and now she is knocking the world’s most established artists off the album and singles charts.

“Our styles are different. I don’t know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent.”

Personally, I think if these two power houses were to team up I think the end result would be amazing!

The Paparazzi star even confessed she’s watched the clip of Susan on Britain’s Got Talent over a thousand times. So have I girl, so have I!

Dustin Hoffman gets booed in Italy

After a career full of love and accolades, two time Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman is getting negative reviews for a commercial he filmed to promote the Marche region of Italy for their tourism board.

During the spot, he recites the poem “L’Infinito” (“The Infinite”) by 19th century Marche writer Giacomo Leopardi but fails to pronounce the words properly or put much emotion into them, the critics claim. One commenter goes as far as comparing it to “The Dalai Lama doing a commercial for Las Vegas!” oh my!

Marche Governor Gian Mario Spacca stands by the ad and said, “The difficulty that Hoffman finds in the recitation could symbolise the more universal one of coming closer to an unknown culture.”

He closed by saying this is only an early version of the spot and can still be changed.

Harry Potter star splashes down in Miami

It might be time for me to take a little drive down to South Beach! Harry Potter star Tom Felton is celebrating a nice winter break with his girlfriend Jade Gordon and her family at the Fountainbleu Hotel located in Miami Beach.

As a huge Harry Potter fan, I fear that I’d have had to break my rule and go up to him and ask for a picture like those young fans did! At least they can be excused because of their age. Imagine a 31 year old woman squeeing with glee after getting a picture with Tom!

Tom and Jade cuddled under the warm sun and later went for a walk on the boardwalk. The couple have been together for over two years.

Sarah Jessica Parker visits the library

Just like her character Carrie on Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker loves the library! She took her son James Wilkie to the New York Pubic Library during an extremely cold afternoon yesterday.

SJP was stopped by fan asking for her autograph to which she nicely obliged.

While they are a part of the public due to their occupation, should we not respect their time with their families and not approach them? I know I would definitely be exstatic if I saw her walk past me but I don’t know that I would disturb her with her young son being right there!

You can currently watch Parker on the big screen in the romantic comedy, Did You Hear About the Morgans co-starring British heartthrob Hugh Grant.
