Courteney Cox & Lisa Kudrow: Friends Reunited
For all your Friends fans, if you are not watching Courteney Cox on her new show Cougar Town, it may be time to start tuning it!
Entertainment Weekly just released the first photo of Cox with her former co-star Lisa Kudrow from an upcoming scene of the ABC sitcom. But don’t expect her to be anything like her Emmy award winning character Phoebe Buffay!
“They didn’t want to play friends,” says executive producer Bill Lawrence, who quickly came up with a different role for Kudrow. “She plays a dermatologist who is a horrible, horrible person, but [Cox] goes to her because she’s the best. The [sight] of them playing people who dislike each other intensely was very funny for me to watch.”
In 2007, the first on-screen Friends reunion happened when Jennifer Aniston guest starred on Cox’s FX drama, Dirt.
