Tomorrow will be a bittersweet day for Monk fans around the world. The police comedy/drama, which debuted in 2002, will say its final goodbye and solve its most famous case, Trudy’s murder.
To celebrate this fabulous show, I’ve changed up our logo and our background to give Monk a little love. I hope you guys like it!
In the first part of the series finale, Adrian Monk, played by Tony Shalhoub, was poisoned while having dinner at his assistant Natalie’s house. The synthetic poison is slowly killing him with no cure in sight. With the end growing closer, he decides to open up a gift Trudy gave him right before she was killed. To his surprise, its a video tape of her where she makes a confession about her past.
Mr. Monk and the End, Part 1 averaged 5.82 million viewers on Nov. 27, according to Nielsen data.
In tomorrow nights episode we will get to find out what Trudy’s secret was and who killed her. Hopefully an antidote is found and we won’t lose our favorite OCD detective ever!
