Kate Moss preserves fabulous fashion finds
Supermodel Kate Moss knows a good find when she gets one! She received a pair of jeans from Rolling Stone guitarist Keith
Richards and refuses to get rid of them.
She said: “Do I ever throw out clothes? Definitely not! I’ve got classics.
“Keith Richards gave me a pair of black jeans he bought in Brazil in 1969 and I still wear them – they fit me perfectly.
The fashion maven, who attended the 2009 British Fashion Awards at the Royal Courts of Justice with longtime boyfriend Jamie Hince last night, was also given a special gift by ex-beau Johnny Depp that she treasures.
“For my 21st birthday, Johnny Depp bought me a copy of the dress Julie Christie wore in ‘Shampoo’. He had it made and every sequin is hand-sewn. I still wear it.”
Moss plans to keep these items and hand them down to her 7-year-old daughter Lila Grace one day. Her little princess has already shown interest in wearing her mommies high heels!
“Accessories stand the test of time and you can hand them down to your children. Lila can walk around in heels already but I’ve told her they’re only for special occasions. I don’t want her in heels yet – she’s only seven.”
I can’t believe I am agreeing with Kate Moss! Katie Holmes should be listening to this advice. She let’s little Suri wear heels already and she is only 3-years-old!
