Zoe Saldana attended the World Premiere of Avatar at Odeon Leicester Square in London, England today. Is it just me or is this Dominicana looking rather thin? Have some fish and chips whilst in London girl! Plus they say the camera adds about 15 pounds!
Saldana stars as Neytiri in this James Cameron science fiction, action/adventure where a band of humans are pitted in a battle against a distant planet’s indigenous population. Avatar is rumored to be one of the most expensive movies ever made, with a price tag well in excess of the $200 million spent to make “Titanic.”
Mr. Cameron came up with the idea for this film in 1995 but had to wait a century for technology to catch up so he could make it. The film mixes live action and computer animation to create an eye-popping vivid alien world.
Avatar opens in U.S. theaters on December 18th, 2009.
