Cristiano Ronaldo wins big in Madrid

It was a big night for soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo! He attended the 3rd Annual As del Deporte 2009 Awards photocall at City Hall on December 3, 2009 in Madrid, Spain.

The Real Madrid player accepted top honors Grammy Award Winning singer Alejandro Sanz. He is the first foreigner to ever take home this accolade.

“It is an honor to be the first foreigner to win this award,” said Ronaldo, “but it couldn’t have happened without team work.”

“I do not feel any added pressure,” for being the most expensive signing ever,” he added, “the President was correct in signing me and I will bring a lot of joy to Real Madrid and football fans during my time here.”

He already has brought much joy to his legions of dedicated fans. We hear many of them attended this event in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the Portuguese pretty boy!

Drake Continues to Make Moves

Up and coming in the game, pretty boy rapper Drizzy Drake is no stranger to the spotlight any more. He has managed to make the unthinkable transition from a small Degrassi set to Grammy nominated artist. There’s no doubt the man is definitely doing big things.

In regards to his two Grammy nominations, both for “Best I Ever had,” hip hop’s latest golden boy had this to say.

“Whether I take them home or not, this is an amazing moment for me. Everybody knows the Grammys are the awards to receive as a musician. It symbolizes not popularity, but great music. Also, Grammys are what kept me up at night while I was in high school. Grammys are why I work so hard. This is the goal: to win a Grammy. If it happens, it’ll be [marked off of my] life checklist.”

Taylor Lautner & Taylor Swift reunited!

After a busy November, Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift were brought back together in Los Angeles today. The rumored couple are back to where they first met, on the set of their new movie Valentine’s Day. The duo, who are playing a popular high school couple, were photographed inside a gray Porshe.

Jude Law spoils Jonny Lee Miller’s son!

It’s a very special day for a cute little boy! Buster Timothy Miller, son of English actor Jonny Lee Miller and his wife Michele Hicks, celebrated his first birthday today.

His sweet uncle Jude Law picked up a special helium balloon show a big number one, a bouquet of white roses, and a gift to help the Miller family celebrate.

The best buddies are currently both on Broadway. Law, who has been playing the lead in Hamlet will wrap up with a final performance on Sunday and Miller is playing a manservant in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of After Miss Julie.

Co-starring with Miller is Law’s ex-girlfriend Sienna Miller who has been spotted leaving from his apartment in the Village.

Karolina Kurková: Baby Love

Checzk supermodel Karolina Kurková and her fiance Archie Drury stepped out with their 5-week-old son Tobin Jack in New York City today.

Little Archie will have lots of beautiful women surrounding him. He might even share a sandbox with fellow Victoria Secret model babies, Valentina Lima Jarić daughter of Adriana Lima and Lou Sulola Samuel dauther of Heidi Klum and her superstar hubby Seal.

Karolina seems to have dropped a lot of the baby weight since giving birth in October. Archie is the first child for the model/actress and her film producer fiance.

Stars premiere Nine in London

Anyone who had access to the London premiere of the highly anticipated film, Nine is extremely lucky!

The star power on the red carpet at the Odeon Theater in Leicester Square was amazing! It included Daniel Day Lewis, Dame Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, and Kate Hudson who are part of this fabulous cast.

Vin Diesel pops up in Paris!

Vin Diesel emerged in a slick looking suit and tie to attend a meeting at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris today. The action star, who is friends with President of the Dominic Republic Leonel Fernández, was there in support of his bid for help for Latin American countries to spread their culture through new technologies and avoid what he called “a widening digital divide.”
