Hugh Jackman & Cate Blanchett love the snow!

If you enjoy a white Christmas, New York is the place to be! Cate Blanchett dropped off her children, 8-year-old Dashiell John, 5-year-old Roman Robert and one-year-old Ignatius Martin with her celebrity buddy, Hugh Jackman’s house for a bit of fun.

Jackman took all the kids, including his nine-year-old son Oscar Maximilian and his precious little Ava to New York’s West Side Park on the Hudson River to play in the snow. They built a snowman, threw snowballs, and even made snow angels!

The Australian actor seems to be covered in head-to-toe snow from being bombarded by the giants balls of ice. What a fun dad!

Brittany Murphy dies

I don’t think I’m alone when I say that I am completely shocked and saddened by the news of the death of actress Brittany Murphy. TMZ reported the news of her passing.

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We’re told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Her time of death was listed as 10:04 AM.

The L.A. Coroner is going set to perform an autopsy on the Clueless actress though her husband Simon Monjack stated he would rather one not be done.

This is really sad news and I pray for Brittany and her family.

**UPDATE: The AP reports that the Los Angeles Coroner’s office told them that it appears that Murphy died of natural causes and that they are looking into the actress’ medical history. An official cause of death will not be announced for some time due to the need to perform toxicology tests, the AP reports.**

Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale hang with the kiddies

Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale wrapped up their adorable boys, 3-year-old Kingston and one-year-old Zuma and headed for lunch at Locando Locatelli in West London for lunch today.

Gweny is such a fashionable female. Check out those red perky red lips, the trendy fedora hat, and those SHOES!!!

The Rossdale/Stefani clan is in England for the holidays. While in Fort Lauderdale for a tennis tournament, the former Bush front man said every year they like to alternate between Los Angeles and the UK for the end of year celebrations.

Amanda Seyfried: Puppy Love

amandaseyfriedpuppy

A bundled up Amanda Seyfried walked her ADORABLE puppy around the Meatpacking District in New York City this morning. All of this cuteness was occurring as a representative for HBO’s Big Love announced she is leaving after this season!

“She’s been exploring her movie career for a couple of years now, and we’ve been giving her a lot of room to do that,” “Big Love” creator Will Scheffer told TV Guide. “I know having a commitment to a show for six months definitely cuts into her ability to pursue that career.”

Reports indicate that her character Sarah Hendrickson will marry before she exits the show.

Jude Law visits Letterman

judelaw

A scrumptious Jude Law visited The Late Show with David Letterman tonight to promote his new film Sherlock Holmes.

He chats about working with superstar Robert Downey Jr. for the first time, all the action/adventure you will see on the film, the locations they shot at, his summer performing Hamlet on Broadway, his sister who paints nudes, why he did not read Sherlock Holmes stories as a lad, and spending the holidays with his kids on a beach.

Law also discusses the issues with the NYU girls who were spying on him from their dorm rooms. Yeah, the one he got so mad about he threw oranges at them! He considers them “peeping toms!!”

This interview is a “must watch” all the way through. At the end there is a clip of Jude as a 16-year-old! Too cute!!
