It’s a sad for all of Russell Brand fans. The British comedian is confirming his engagement to American singer Katy Perry. He shared the news via text message with texting Sun Bizarre Editor Gordon Smart.
“It’s true. Much love.”
Honestly I’m happy for them but of course a little skeptical. Someone like Russell doesn’t change his womanizing ways in three months but I really hope it works out for them. I love him and wish him only the best.
Russ gifted Katy with a special trip to India after she spoke of her love of the Indian culture. They were blessed by a traditional love guru who granted them luck and divine happiness in a tent at the foot of a mountain in Jaipur just before midnight on New Years Eve. The couple wore traditional Indian outfits during the ceremony.
Brand and Perry are said to be celebrating in Thailand.
I wonder if it was that big of a surprise for Katy. The paparazzi photographed Russell while he shopped at London jewelers in December. I can’t wait to see her showing it off!
