Heroes star honored with key to the City of Miami

Happy Heroes Monday!! I’m proud to share with you all some wonderful news about one of your favorite actors on the show. Jimmy Jean-Louis was in Miami on Friday, January 8th to attend the Fifth Annual Haitian Independence Month Ceremony held at the Stephen P. Clark Center in the heart of downtown Miami.

As part of the ceremony, a resolution designating the month of January as Haitian Independence Month in Miami-Dade County was officially presented by members of the Board of County Commissioners. His Excellency Haiti Ambassador to the United States Raymond Alcide Joseph and Haitian superstar Jimmy Jean-Louis received the key to the City of Miami from Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez.

Pink & Carey Hart are smooching bikers!

Reunited couple Carey Hart and Alecia Moore a.k.a. Pink celebrated their four year anniversary in Vegas over the weekend. The couple had dinner at Rio’s Café Martorano, before heading inside the Mirage to watch The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. When they went backstage one of the performers gifted Pink with a bouquet of flowers!

The celebration continued yesterday with the lovebirds jumping on their motorcycles for a romantic ride to Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California. They couldn’t resist sharing a smooch when they stopped over at a gas station for a refill.

The couple who met in 2001 at the X Games, tied the knot in Costa Rica on January 7th, 2006.

Michael Buble is engaged!

Boy do I know a bunch of heartbroken people this morning! Canadian crooner Michael Bublé has become engaged to his Argentinian girlfriend Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre. What good little secret keepers they are too, Michael proposed to the blond beauty in November!

“Michael proposed to his girlfriend, Luisana, in November, in front of her family in Argentina,” the recording artist’s representative, Liz Rosenberg, told People.com. “They’re ecstatic. They’re adorable, in love and laugh all day long.”

She also confirmed the sexy singer designed the ring with Vancouver jeweler Minichiello.

The 34-year-old met the South American actress at a party thrown by his record company after one of his concerts in Buenos Aires in November 2008.

With her busy work on the soap “Atraccion x4″ and his world tour in support of his latest cd Crazy Love about to take off in March its no wonder the couple has yet to set a date.

Katy Perry shows off engagement bling

The woman who stole my mans heart, Katy Perry, proudly showed off her engagement ring in England yesterday. Her and fiance Russell Brand headed to the Coffee Cup Cafe in Hampstead to share a little brunch.

The two carat rock sits on a gold band and was purchased by Russy at Cartier in December.

The couple got engaged over New Years break in Jaipur, India and are currently in Los Angeles.

Russell is so sweet he stopped to take some pictures with fans who saw them walking in the street. That is no surprise, I hear ol’ Russ is always nice to his fans.

Bookies are starting to take bets about Jonathan Ross and Brand teaming up for a new show now that Wossy didn’t renew his contract at the BBC. I hope they decide to do it on this side of the pond. I love these two together!

Gerard Butler goes for some Toast

Showing off his trendy look, Gerard Butler smiled for the photographers as he departed from Toast bakery cafe in Los Angeles this afternoon. The stylish gent paired a tight fitting, thinly striped shirt, dark denim jeans, and his man bag with his friendly smile.

I know so many people don’t like the idea of men carrying a bag but if they need to carry more than just their wallets and phone, are they meant to carry it all in their hands? I spoke recently to a friend who told me that until he spent a few months in Europe that he finally felt it was ok to carry a man bag. Plus Butler really knows how to make the “look” work.

Gerry was recently added to the all star line up of presenters at the Golden Globes Awards being hosted by funnyman Ricky Gervais. You can watch it live on NBC at 8 pm.

Jude Law is having a sleighing good time!

When snow arrives in London, you must get all your gear out and enjoy it before its gone. I’ve spent my Christmas holiday in England’s capital for the last few years and only once have I managed to see cars covered in a little bit of white. Of course since I wasn’t there it decided to snow today!

Jude Law and his three children, 9 year old Iris, 7 year old Rudy, and 13 year old Rafferty grabbed their sleighs and headed down Parliament Hill in Hampstead at full speeds. It looks like Iris got the best seat in the house. She got to ride on her daddy’s back the whole way down!

Zachary Quinto has a night on the town

Hardworking Hollywood boy Zachary Quinto hit the town with some buddies in West Hollywood last night. The Heroes star partied at celebrity hot spot Chateau Marmont with an unidentified male Tyler Shields who tried to shy away from the cameras.

Also spotted was promoter to the stars Brent Bolthouse.

As much as I love Zach on Heroes I’m dying to see him breakout and make more movies. He was so great in Star Trek and I really think he will kick some major box office butts if he was on the big screen more often.

Who am I kidding though? What would be left of Heroes without bad boy Sylar on board?

ZQ fans, could you live without Sylar if it meant more of him in major motion pictures?
