Spotted: Sissy Spacek and Schuyler Fisk

The adorable mother/daughter duo of Sissy Spacek and Schuyler Fisk were photographed as they spent the afternoon together in Beverly Hills today. Am I the only one that would love to see them working together on another project?

Spacek is ready to make her way into the complicated world of the Hendrickson’s. She is going to be guest starring on HBO’s Big Love this season where she will play the role of a Washington lobbyist.

The Daily Beast spoke to creators Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer who gave us a little insight into what we can expect to see from Sissy.

Gerard Butler is back in the U.S.

Gerard Butler re-emerged stateside last night. His typically sexy self was spotted outside the Roger Room Lounge in Los Angeles. Yes I still find him extremely gorgeous even though he has put on a bit of weight over the holidays. Personally I like men with a little junk in their trunk!

Gerry must have been celebrating being cleared of the charges against him over a scuffle with a photographer after a premiere party for his film RocknRolla in October 2008.

A spokesperson for the court said a misdemeanor battery charge was dropped after the 40-year-old actor completed community service. He could have faced up to six months in jail had he been convicted.

Michelle Pfeiffer gets an easy, breezy haircut!

Has Michelle Pfeiffer been on a long vacation? She looked GORGEOUS as she walked down a street in Beverly Hills today. She showed off a new shorter and straighter hairdo that practically took ten years off of her!

Up next for the veteran actress is a rumored role in Splendid Films, How to Make Love Like an Englishman. She will co-star alongside the hunky Pierce Brosnan who plays an English literature professor who embarks on an affair with the mother of his much younger former wife.

I’ve yet to hear of a confirmation of her signing on to the film but a girl can hope.

I hope to see Michelle get into a few more films in 2010. I can’t stop watching her in 2007′s Stardust!! I love that movie!

On the Scene: Cher & Christina Aguilera

Legendary celebrity icon Cher took Christina Aguilera under her wing on the set of their new film Burlesque as they film in Hollywood, CA earlier today. Despite being a star in her own right, Aguilera looks to be excited for the tutelage.

With this being her film debut, the Dirty singer looks keen to learn from the veteran singer/actress.

Christina will be playing the role of an ambitious small town girl from Iowa with a big voice who comes of age in a neo-burlesque club on Sunset Boulevard that’s run by Tess (Cher), a former dancer who struggles to keep the club open and gives the young girl a chance to shine.

The duo are set to be presenters at the The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards being held at the Beverly Hilton and can be watched live on NBC starting at 8 pm EST.

Hugh Grant mingles with a rooster in Madrid

Hugh Grant attended an interested photo call for his new movie, Que Fue de los Morgans?, a.k.a. Did You Hear About the Morgans? held in Madrid earlier today. He posed in his dapper suit for photographers and then later he sat on a stack of hay with a rooster by his side who may or may not have been alive.

While a lot of people say this movie was one of the worst romantic comedies of the year I still want to check it out. I love both SJP and Hugh Grant so I’m hoping at least the chemistry was right.

The latest reports claim the Morgans have brought home $6,616,571 a the box office.

Angelina Jolie spotted at dinner with goat

A stressed out Angelina Jolie went out to dinner with a goat that looked a lot like her partner Brad Pitt in New York City last night. The pair dined at Alto Restaurant on Madison Avenue for about six hours! Boy that goat must have needed all that time to graze!

I can understand why Angie looks so tired. She’s been doing some re-shoots for her action flick Salt while being a parent to six young children.

It was recently announced that her oldest kids, Maddox, 8, Zahara, 6, and Shiloh, 3 received $100,000 trust funds from their deceased grandmother Marcheline Bertrand who lost her life to ovarian cancer in 2007. They will be able to cash it in when they turn 25 years of age. (Doubt they will need it!)

Their youngest three children weren’t intentionally left out. Bertrand wrote up the will in 2006.

Johnny Depp is Actor of the Decade!!

Johnny Depp had an especially BIG night this evening. The actor was honored as Favorite Actor of the Decade at the People’s Choice Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on January 6, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.

The award was presented by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen who spoke of Depp’s many achievements in the past ten years.

“I’m deeply humbled by this great honor,” Depp told the audience at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.”It has been quite an amazing decade- quite a ride.”

The talented actor, who has always shown his fans so much love, thanked them for their support.

Johnny was also proclaimed, Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine.
