Alexander Skarsgard is smokin’ at the SAG Awards

Swedish sensation Alexander Skarsgard attended the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 23, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. He was joined by his True Blood co-stars Anna Paquin and her fiance Stephen Moyer on the red carpet.

The hit HBO vampire drama was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series but lost out to the super popular Mad Men.

I don’t know about you guys but I think with the third season of True Blood upon us they will definitely secure some major awards for next year!

Jason Segel celebrates birthday in style

Funny dude Jason Segel celebrated his birthday at a private residence in Los Angeles last night. The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star emerged at around 2:30 am with a bright red lipstick mark on his cheek and a smile on his face. I wonder who the lucky lady was?

Segel turned the big 3-0 on the 18th of January.

Rumor has it that Jason is up against Bradley Cooper to co-star alongside Cameron Diaz in the upcoming movie Bad Teacher. The raunchy comedy written by Gene Stupnisky and Lee Eisenberg of The Office revolves around a “foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher who, after getting dumped by her boyfriend, competes with a colleague for the affections of the school’s model teacher.”

Personally I’d love to see Jason cast in this role. I love Bradley Cooper and everything but I think Segel’s personality will mesh the best with Cameron Diaz. Who would you like to see cast in this role?

Gerard Butler heads to LA for Haiti telethon

How is it possible that even when Gerard Butler is looking scruffy he still looks so sexy?! The Scottish stallion was photographed as he departed from New York to Los Angeles International Airport today.

I’m super jealous of two of my Twitter followers who managed to speak to Gerry while he was on “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon this evening. I tried to get through to talk to him twice but I ended up talking to two random really nice women who were working the phones. Of course I donated both times but it would have been made my lifetime to talk to Gerard.

Robert Pattinson does his part for Haiti

Oh hey Rob, I almost didn’t recognize you! A very hairy Robert Pattinson was photographed returning back to his hotel after being a presenter for the Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief telethon in London this evening.

The actor who portrays the vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga films will be manning the phones with other stars like Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and Nicole Kidman. His segment is going to be transmitted via satellite since he is currently across the pond in England.

He is looking quite good with all this hair, maybe he should have been cast as one the werewolves!

For all my people in the United States, you can watch the telethon on all major networks at 8pm tonight.
