I just read the most wonderful news! Our beloved Willie Garson, who plays Mozzie on White Collar and Stanford Blatch on Sex and the City, has finalized his adoption!!!
The new dad shared the happy news with People Magazine.
The adoption, fostered by The Alliance for Children’s Rights and Westside Children’s Center, was finalized in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Garson told PEOPLE exclusively.
He is now officially dad to an eight year old boy named Nathen.
“From the first time I met him, I said, ‘That’s my kid,’ ” says Garson, 45. His biggest challenge so far as a single parent? Helping Nathen with his homework.
“He’s in third grade, and I’m in the third grade,” jokes Garson
What a lucky kid! I met Willie during a set visit to his USA show White Collar last September and he is just such a lovely man. This could not have happened to any one nicer.
He mentioned to me during a later interview that as soon as the adoption was final, he’d be able to show off his son in public. I can’t wait to see the first pictures of the proud papa.
Congrats to Willie and Nathen!
