The cast of How To Make It In America rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on February 8, 2010 in New York City to promote the eight-episode, first season of the comedy series premiering on HBO. In honor of the occasion, Bryan Greenberg (“Prime,” HBO’s “Unscripted”), Victor Rasuk (“Lords of Dogtown,” “Raising Victor Vargas”) and Lake Bell (“Boston Legal,” “What Happens in Vegas”) were in attendance.
The show follows two enterprising twentysomethings as they hustle their way through New York City, determined to achieve the American Dream. Trying to make a name for themselves in New York’s competitive fashion scene, Ben Epstein (Greenberg) and his friend and business partner Cam Calderon (Rasuk) use their street knowledge and connections to bring their ambitions to fruition. With the help of Cam’s cousin Rene (Guzman), who is trying to market his own high-energy drink, and their well-connected friend Domingo (“Kid Cudi”), the burgeoning entrepreneurs set out to make it big, encountering obstacles along the way that will require all their ingenuity to overcome.
The political program counts Mark Wahlberg as a producer.
How to Make it in America premieres on Sunday, February 14 from 10:00 -10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
