As I am writing this article I am realizing that Ellen Degeneres is 52 years old! No wonder Covergirl picked her as the spokesperson for their Simply Ageless campaign.
When I was in my 20′s I don’t ever remember worrying about my skin. When I look at my mothers face, who is currently only two years older than Ellen, I noticed she has no wrinkles and she never bothered with things like sunscreen to protect her skin. Now that I am in my 30′s I realize its irresponsible not to protect your skin against the suns damaging rays. Just because my mother has been lucky up to now doesn’t mean I will too.

It’s no lie that we are all having to watch our spending during this recession as well. I used to spend money buying make-up at department stores thinking their products were much better for my skin.
