With a movie such as Alice in Wonderland, you can’t expect less than an all star premiere! Director Tim Burton and his partner Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Mia Wasikowska, Crispin Glover and my all time favorite Alan Rickman were all present on the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square on February 25, 2010 in London, England.
Even Avril Lavigne was there!
The 3D movie was inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale of the young girl who embarks upon an exciting adventure in Wonderland.
Hathaway, who plays the White Witch, had this to say about the film.
“This is Alice 10 years later… when she goes to Wonderland she’s experiencing a return to self and I think it’s a wonderful take on it.”
