I am not sure that I am more excited about any other movie this year than Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood. Even though some people are questioning why Russell Crowe was chosen to play the legendary Sir Robin of Loxley, Earl of Huntington I think he was cast perfectly.
Robin Hood chronicles the life of the famous expert archer who travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the widow Lady Marion.

Just because Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston are in Mexico together does NOT mean they are hooking up!! The duo are currently in Cabo San Lucas along with Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Sheryl Crowe to celebrate Aniston’s 41st birthday.
Let’s keep a few things in mind here. Jen and Gerry are about to release their new movie The Bounty Hunter in March. It’s great press to see these rumored lovers spending some quality time together. Plus don’t you think Aniston would be a little pissed about Butler’s make out session with the violin player? I doubt she’d be so keen to whisk him away to Mexico after that.
Anyways, why can’t two friends just spend some time together and not be hitting the sheets? Then again, I don’t think I could have the 300 star only as my friend. So maybe I’m just completely in denial!

Leave it to George Clooney to travel to some of the most amazing places across the globe! The Up in the Air actor jetted off to St. Moritz, Switzerland with his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis on February 7, 2010. A friend picked him just as he landed and greeted him with a warm embrace.
Canalis was photographed walking with her very handsome Miniature Pincher wearing a red and white sweater. (Can you tell I’m the proud parent of a Min Pin also?!)
Empire Magazine recently surveyed their readers to vote for the worst movie of all time. The winner of the title belonged to the Clooney film, Batman & Robin. While I remember it being pretty bad, I’m sure there are plenty of other films that are equally as bad or maybe even worse!

The second spotting was with his manager Guy Oseary with whom he attended the Celebrity Beach Bowl today. (Yes the same Guy Oseary that manages his rumored ex-girlfriend Madonna!)
In other A-Rod news, An anonymous buyer paid more than $100,000 at auction for the ball New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez hit for his 500th career home run. According to SCP Auctions the winning bid for the ball was $103,579.
Rodriguez collected home run number 500 on Aug. 4, 2007 when he connected off Kansas City Royals pitcher Kyle Davies at old Yankee Stadium.

Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner is working some exercise in while hitting the beaches of Miami earlier today. The under aged stud was photographed at DIRECTV’s 4th Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl on February 6, 2010 located in sunny South Beach.
It seems that all the extra work outs he put in for the Twilight Saga: New Moon has helped him land another major role. Universal Pictures says studio executives have signed the actor to star in the film “Stretch Armstrong.”
“In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power,” Langley offered. “We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch.”
The super hero film is currently set for release in 2012.
