New Kids on the Block bring it to Late Night

Our favorite Bean Town boys visited with Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote the release of their new dvd entitled Coming Home which released today. The New Kids on the Block performed a medley of their songs including “Tonight,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Right Stuff,” “Step by Step,” and my favorite song “Please Don’t Go Girl.”

The performance was even more amazing due to the fact that Jimmy’s house band THE ROOTS performed with them!!

Ya know, when I watch the boys perform it makes me want to “fave” each one of them but deep down inside I will always be a Jonathan Knight girl.

Valentine’s Day celebrities team up for Susan G. Komen

It’s February and love is in the air! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I want to share with you some special things this month that will bring a smile to your face and some that will also benefit others.

To open up the month I want to tell you about this special collaboration between New Line Cinema’s new star-studded feature Valentine’s Day and the Ford Warriors in Pink to support the breast cancer cause.

Ford Warriors in Pink creates stylish t-shirts, hats, scarves and even ties that will put sweethearts in the Valentine spirit. Stars from the cast, including Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway and George Lopez model pieces from the Ford Warriors in Pink apparel collection in national print ads, like the one posted above, which will raise awareness for the breast cancer cause.

Orlando Bloom begins work on The Good Doctor

Orlando Bloom casually strolls down the street before filming scenes for his latest film “The Good Doctor in Marina Del Ray, California earlier today. Doesn’t he look like a total “good boy” in these shots. I think its the side parted hair do that does it for me!

Bloom plays the role of Dr. Martin Ploeck who has spent his life looking for respect. He meets an 18-year-old patient named Diane who is suffering from a kidney infection, and gets a much-needed boost of self-esteem. However, when her health starts improving, Martin fears losing her, so he begins tampering with her treatment, keeping Diane sick and in the hospital right next to him.

The Good Doctor is being directed by Lance Daly.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers gets cookin’!

This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen Jonathan Rhys Meyers on! I think the reason why I favor this one is because we get to see this Irish hotcake cooking some arroz con pollo. (Chicken and Rice for my non-Spanish speaking readers!)

He dishes on the next and final season of our beloved Tudors, they discuss working with a fashionable director like Tom Ford, the movie Avatar, and he confesses that he will not be joining Twitter any time soon. Just as White Collar stars Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay claim, JRM says his life is just dull! Umn….I doubt it!

Meyers talks about the making of his new action film From Paris with Love and his chemistry with co-star John Travolta.

A Single Man brings the boys to the yard

Even though the temperatures are cool in London, being at the UK premiere of A Single Man would have warmed me right up! Director Tom Ford worked the red carpet alongside the stars of the film Colin Firth, Matthew Goode, Jon Kortajarena, and Nicholus Hoult at The Curzon Mayfair on February 1, 2010.

Also in attendance were Little Britain funnyman David Walliams, upcoming star of Clash of the Titans Luke Evans, designer Stella McCartney, and Elizabeth Hurley.

Firth’s wife Livia Giuggioli looked stunning as did Matthew Goode’s partner Sophie Dymoke. (No matter how jealous I am!)

A Single Man is currently in American theaters and will open in the United Kingdom on February 12th.

On the Scene: Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson got serious on the set of Unknown White Male on February 1, 2010 in Berlin, Germany. Does this guy ever take a break? He just finished up work on the A-Team movie in Canada and now he is in Europe!

Liam plays a man awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one — not even his wife (January Jones) — believes him. With the help of a young woman (Diane Kruger), he sets out to prove who he is.

The dramatic thriller is being directed by Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra.

Jim Carrey & Ewan McGregor share a smooch!

Actors Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor had a very special honor bestowed up them today. They were honored with one of the French government’s highest accolades in recognition of their success in the movie industry.

The pair accepted their honors from French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand, who declared: “I love you, Jim Carrey! I love you, Ewan McGregor!”

The two are in the City of Lights to promote their new dramatic comedy, I Love You Phillip Morris.
