Celebrity super couple Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes are publicly announcing that they split earlier this year.
“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” said a statement by lawyers Schillings.
“The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement.“Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children. They ask that the media respect the privacy of the family.”
The couple married in a private ceremony in the Caribbean island of Anguilla on May 24th, 2003 and have one son together, Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes. This is her second marriage which has ended in divorce with both her exes being directors.
Kate is absolutely fabulous and I wish her the best. I really thought these two would last forever!

I am saddened by this news as is everyone else. Never work with your spouse, it puts a huge strain on the marriage. She needed to talk about the character, he wanted to leave work at work. He gave into her by talking about the film after hours. There was no “them” time. Big mistake, in any household. Unless there is a crisis, leave work at work.
