Jennifer Love Hewitt shoots Cupid

Jennifer Love Hewitt showed off a shorter, bouncier haircut as she did the talk show rounds promoting her new book, “The Day I Shot Cupid: My Name is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I’m a Love-Aholic” today. These photos were taken of the Ghost Whisperer star outside the Wendy Williams Show in New York City.

Before we can discuss her new book, I must compliment J.Love for rockin’ a hot pink dress in the NYC. When I visit, I almost always try to incorporate a fun mix of colors alongside the standard black and gray so as to stand out in the concrete city!

The promotion of her new book comes on the heels of her break-up with comedian Jamie Kennedy.

“It wasn’t ideal timing,” the 31-year-old actress admits, laughing. “Here’s my relationship book and I’m single.”

It is the ideal time for her to take some of her own advise that she dishes out in her new book.

Allow yourself 72 hours to wallow after a breakup. Then move forward.

“Put your big girl pants on and move on,” Hewitt tells The Associated Press. “Seventy-two hours is an appropriate time. After that you start to smell and your friends don’t want to talk to you. … It doesn’t mean it fixes your feelings or takes away the sadness. You should just start to go, ‘I’m OK.’”

Jennifer has had a string of unsuccessful relationships that have covered the front pages of many gossip mags. She really is no different to us except that our relationships don’t end up discussed in public.

“My dating life has been written about really since I was 15 … so this book is my way of saying, ‘No, this is who I am and this is what I’ve really thought about that, and these are the things that I’ve done that maybe you didn’t read about.”

You can pick up a copy of Hewitt’s new book in stores now!
